V10climb
V10climb
Overview
V10climb was requested by @corwent.
It dynamically changes vines to ladders so you can climb on it. But be aware: There's a little chance for you to fall down!
Permissions
This plugin supports superPerms:
v10climb.cando: description: Climb on vines! default: true
How to (hey, I walk through the vines, this doesn't work)
You can still go through the vines, that's a feature. ;)
To climb on them simply stand in front of it and press jump to start climbing. This plugin will detect your height changes and automatically replace the vines in front of you with ladders.
Videos
Will be here soon...

Check out ArmorAbilities. It has a spider ability that lets users climb walls

There needs to be some kind of plugin to scale walls.
Hacked clients have had it forever. Why so hard to make it a plugin?

Posted Jun 9, 2012Can you create a plugin, or make this plugin have the feature of climbing regular, smooth walls by pressing a button and going up to them? Maybe create invisable vines that disappear behind them? It would take up say, half a food bar per 2 or 1 block, but you can shimmy across too, which creates invisible ladders, with another key

Posted Oct 17, 2011This is amazing. Thank you so much for having made this.
Obvious complaints include: the vines turn into ladders when you climb them. It also seems like "lag" instead of "a chance to fall" when you're climbing them. A configuration to change the rate, or something to make it "better" would be wonderful.
But seriously: Grand job. Thank you very much for this. Brilliant.
