uSkyBlock
This DevBukkit page is being updated again with current releases and links to the maintained uSkyBlock project. We had lost access to the DevBukkit project page for some time, but have now regained it and are bringing it back up to date.
uSkyBlock is an open-source Skyblock plugin for Paper and Spigot.
Start on a small floating island, build it into something thriving, complete challenges, and team up with other players to push your island further.

Why uSkyBlock
uSkyBlock gives you a complete Skyblock foundation with island progression, deep customization, and a maintained open-source codebase you can build on long term.
Complete Skyblock gameplay. Build your server around islands, progression, challenges, and party play.
Deep customization. Shape the experience with focused configuration including challenge design, biome options, custom islands, and more.
Integrates with your server. Extend uSkyBlock through its public API and placeholder support so it fits cleanly into your server.
Open source with proven lineage. uSkyBlock is fully open source under GPLv3, free to run, and backed by more than a decade of project history.
Maintained for modern servers. Continues to evolve for current Paper and Spigot versions, with new features, docs, support, and maintenance.
International by default. Support international player communities with bundled translations into 53 languages.

You will have both islands, 1 in the Overworld and 1 in the Nether. The portal you create will connect the 2 islands then.
The nether island is created when a player does the command /is create or by using the GUI (there is no need for an extra create command to create the nether island itself).
Even as you have no access to the nether island right away (for normal players) the nether island is there, and will have the same coordinates as in the overworld.
The skyworld and skyworld_nether are connected from when the worlds are generated, nothing have to be done for this.
The nether feature is introduced with version v2.5 and higher, versions below this will not have a nether island.

Posted Dec 28, 2015Hi, Some questions about the new Nether features...
I just don't understand if the new nether world is connected to the default map or if it's a new island world (so an is create on the nether map is needed).
Thanks for any information you can give me about that.

I dont understand why you cant place it either.
Might need to see this on the server.
"WARN]: A manual (plugin-induced) save has been detected while server is configured to auto-save.
That message can be ignored as far I know. If someone else knows let us know plz.

Oh and somehow it keeps saying "WARN]: A manual (plugin-induced) save has been detected while server is configured to auto-save. This may affect performance."

There a good few issue's when I look at the log file you provided.
After going through all this I couldn't see an issue with uSkyblock.
How are you trying to make the island bigger?
In the main config of uSB you can set the distance and protectionRange to set the size (region) of what players can use to build in.
If you want a custom island that is bigger I suggest to read this page here.

If you have to choose between 2 versions, 1 clearly saying for bukkit 1.7.9 and 1 saying for 1.8.1 doesnt it make it very easy to choose??
Just because the 1.7.9 is uploaded later (as it has less priority for us) doesn't mean you can use it for any version of MC, hens the MC versions attached to it. And bukkit wont allow to use the tag 1.8.8 as there slow in updating there templates.
Same again for Multiverse I do mention in the Installation section versions above v2.5 meaning v2.4 is not an option.
Sorry if it seems like I got me knickers in a twist but reading the above page seems to be very difficult (in general). Simple issue's like this can be avoided by just reading instead of "I know it better and do my own way" and then end up asking questions that are clearly explained in the above page.
EDIT:

Can you tell me the versions you downloaded as asked in this section here.
Multiverse-netherPortals is also missing of your list. (all MV versions too plz)
If possible a full startup log too.

Posted Dec 18, 2015As promised last Saturday to post the new challenges.yml that file is now so good as completed. A few things need to be thought of before updating your challenges.yml.
I hope that this challenges.yml is easier to understand and to create custom challenges with the explanation on the bottom of the file.
Challenges.yml
Copy the pastbin and paste it in your favourite text editor and use "save as" challenges.yml
Some explanation on what we done here...
One of the most important additions to the file is the option to skip the "merge" when updating to a new uSkyblock version.
This way custom or customized challenges wont be overwritten anymore.
Any questions about this feel free to post a message.
Any challenge you would like to share send me a post too.
