Description:

Useful Sponge is meant to be simple for all users to access (might change in the future). Useful Sponge is configurable to soak up water and lava within a set distance, which can be changed with the config file. You can also turn off the water and or lava feature. There are no commands to use at the moment, just plug the jar file into your plugins folder and your ready to go.

To-Do List:

(Priority) Hooking into Spout for some nice graphic pop ups
Implement redstone usage
Hopefully by 29 Aug 2011 (10% done)
Set up permissions and nodes for PermissionsEx (PEX) (50% done)
Hook into iConomy
Any other requested features

Is it just me or doesn't water flow back into the emptied spaces, after destroying the sponge block, till you put an other block in the water ( not sponge), to reload the water flow?

this is a GREAT plugin for building underwater stuff, but it would be much more useful if it would only soak up contiguous blocks of water, not just every water block within the specified bounds..

Hi there.

I was planning on using your mod in conjunction with some other plugins but was experiencing problems with the configuration of the plugin. On my server prompts it says the sponge mod is enabled but the server permissions file is empty?

Any ideas?

Other than that, Great Plugin! Can't wait to test it in action! =D
