Description
Create upgrades for weapons and tools! Allow players to make their equipment better by crafting or finding upgrades. Perfect for any RPG server looking for a new way to let players make their equipment better. All weapons, armor, and tools, can now have certain upgrades added to them to add enchantments. If Steve kills a zombie and finds a "Spike Pad" he can add it to his diamond helmet to add the thorns enchantment to it. Upgrades can be obtained through special (configurable) crafting recipes and/or through mob drops. Upgrades can then be added by right clicking the upgrade, and then the item you want to add it to. Simple! Easy! Fun!

Configuration
You can change...
- An Upgrades Name, Name Color, Display Item, Enchantment, Recipe
- The chance mobs will drop upgrades.
- Which mobs can drop upgrades
- The chance a certain upgrade will be dropped
- The names and messages for every part of the plugin.

I am using your plugin on a 1.8 server and I would like to ask you something, is there any way that you can enable pressing buttons and levers with a named+lore item? Because that is disabled with this plugin and I really need it for my vanilla housing system :D ~ Syra
Note: My players are a HUGEEE fan of your plugin, so please fix it ^^

Can you link me to the jar file you use? Also, does RPGItems use lore? There are certain keywords Upgrades checks for in the lore area of items.

Posted Aug 19, 2014Seems to be an odd bug with the weapons plugin we use. It's called RPGItems2 but is otherwise about identical to RPGItems here on Bukkit except for a couple bug fixes by the guy who picked it up...
At any rate, it only seems to affect the items by that plugin as vanilla items work fine still, but it prevents the RPG bows from firing arrows and the FIshing Rods from casting. As soon as I disable the plugin (via PlugMan) the problem goes away and all works as intended. Unfortunately no errors occur, so I have nothing to provide in that way. I'm going to do a bit of testing with the config though, to see if anything in there somehow is the cause.

You can stack the upgrades if they are same, which is completely fine.
BUT, when you try to put it on a piece of equipment, if it's stacked, one works and the others dissapear.

Well how are you right clicking them? You have to right click them by selecting them in your hot bar. So have them both in your hotbar, select the upgrade, right click, select the item, right click.
If that doesn't work (or if that's what you were doing already) send me your config or any errors that appear in your server log.
