Description

UpgradeBlocks allows you to modify the burn speed and smelting speed of furnaces by using specialised blocks around it. For a basic demo please watch this video. This is a very basic plugin at the moment, it's a proof of concept with many more features and ideas behind it. I've tried my best to balance out gameplay to fairness and would love your insight on balancing issues.

Features

• Modify the smelt speed of a furnace. This allows you to cook your materials faster!
• Modify the burn time of a furnace. This adds 2.5 seconds every coal block added to the furnace and can be nearly unlimited! 1 coal lasting for an hour, why not?
• Refining. This allows you to get a % chance of doubling your ore every time an item is smelted. (Amount of duplication can be adjusted in config).

How to use

Basic intro to the plugin. (Video)

• Each tier of a furnace has 20 slots. Once those 20 slots are filled you need to upgrade it to the next tier.
• Default maximum smelt speed = 99% faster. (39 Redstone Blocks).
• Maximum refining chance = 100%.  (20 Lapis Blocks)
• Nearly unlimited coal blocks for near infinite burn time. (2.5 seconds per coal block)
• Left clicking a furnace will show you what current upgrades it has applied.

• Upgrading to a new tier: Place 5 diamond blocks around a furnace.

• ub.furnace.create 
  • Allows a player to upgrade a furnace.
• ub.furnace.destroy
  • Allows a player to remove an upgraded furnace.
• ub.status
  • Lets a player view the current upgrades of a block.

Planned Features

• More config options!
• Custom naming of a furnace.
• Expand into other blocks: Chests maybe.
• Add GUI to furnaces for easier upgrades.
