Occasional 1/2 block wide gaps are normal, 1/3 of the border isn't, i've never seen more than 2 blocks wide. What is your config? Are you using overridecentre to move the centre of the borders? The world spawn generation area might be covering part of your border causing it not to generate in that part.

There is no way to change the size of the wall, it's from y0 to y256. As for a plugin for timing I wouldn't really know but saturnineNL just suggested mycommand which looks like it can do the job, a quick search might find you something similar that might be easier to use

With those configs you should have a border centred on 800,-800 of radius 1600 in the world world. If you have the updated scatter then try doing /scatterradius 1599 world 800,-800 and then doing /scattero. That should place you directly next to the border in the world 'world' to go along with your config. If it doesn't, check your world names again or the chunks were already generated before you loaded the plugin

I use the mycommand plugin with delay set to 1800 seconds, and it broadcasts a message every 30 min after i started the game. you can make multi commands with it, wich makes it great to write small "scripts" that manage the UHC matches.

Posted Aug 19, 2012How do you change the size of the bedrock wall? Also, what is a good plug-in that can say THE GAME STARTS now or something like that after I scatter my friends and I. I would like it to have a timer to that says when we're 30min 60min ect. in .

Is your world name 'world'? If not you'll have to set the config from world to whatever the name of your world is. Also remember if a chunk is generated where a border should be before the plugin is installed it won't generate the border there so make sure you use it on a brand new map or set the border outside generated range (remember the server autogenerates around 10 chunks by default so set the borders 300+ to make sure its outside spawn range)

Posted Aug 19, 2012I hosted an UHC match last night with the UltraHardcore Core plugin
and noticed the notification (when people get damage) isnt showing.
Is that a removed and later to be added feature or a bug ?

the spawn point won't be changed, the config coords if you set them change the centre of the bedrock circle, and the coords in /scattero do the same thing. If you override the centre of the bedrock circle remember that anything 10 chunks from the worlds spawn point won't be generated due to the server prerendering it before the plugin is loaded.
Other reasons: Is your world named 'world' and is the name in the config.yml also world? Any errors on the console? Is it a newly generated world started when the plugin was installed?

Posted Aug 17, 2012I installed this plugin suite, set the config.yml stuff, tried to do /scattero, it said i had to set the scatter radius, so i did (set it to 500 from 0, 0), but when i scattered everyone, there was no bedrock border, and the actual spawn point for the world wasn't 0,0 either.
Did i do something wrong? everything was at default except for the radius in the config.yml which i set to 500.

If I remember right from the last time I looked at this there were no events associated with eye of enders so it would be pretty difficult to do something flashy like them flying towards a player. Ender pearls have events so would be slightly easier, if I do add it in it would be part of an 'extras' plugin. It would conflict slightly with my idea to have enderpearls do 0 damage though so you'd have to have 1 or the other.
If you only prerender right up to the border then someone who is against the border will be generating a lot of chunks outside the border, so yeah, maybe that was the issue

I remember a while ago that you were thinking of adding some sort of player tracking involving Eye of Ender. I have requested for someone to make this plugin happen but with using ender pearls instead as I know it might not be possible with Eye of Enders. So far I have had no luck but do you think this could be a possible addition to your UHC plugin or even separate?
