Plugin update checking/Plugin Statistics
- The plugin connects automaticly to curse (while enabling) , to inform you when a new update is available. If you don't want this, set the option "enable-update-check" in the config.yml of the SurvivalGames folder to false.
- The plugins sends automaticly statistic informations like current player amount, java version, etc. to http://mcstats.org/! If you don't want this, set the option "opt-out" in the config.yml of the PluginMetrics folder to true.

If you set map reset to false you have to make it so that the player can't destroy anything. And with the arena just look a this here: http://goo.gl/W37bSV So you can't use a arena twice.

What craftbukkit or spigot build should we use? I wasnt aware of a 1.7.4 craftbukkit build. Looking back craftbukkit goes from 1.7.2 to 1.7.5. I am having no luck with the latest build on spigot 1.7.5 or craftbukkit 1.7.5.
Every time players are teleported into the arena, every single client crashes. What is more interesting, is that the map remains in "cooldown" and the players that crashed (everyone) can rejoin that lobby it takes them directly to the arena and continues counting down from where it left off. Before the game starts, all clients crash again, I imagine this continues.
Any idea what is going on?

Yes I am aware, thanks for your replies. Maybe thats what I will do, so you are saying make it so players can destroy ANY blocks and just disable map reset?
I misspoke before, this arena I just created made a 800mb file out of a 30mb map. I also just realized that you have to add the same map to each lobby? So If I want multiple lobbies each with around 5-8 maps, were looking at a server that takes 12-18 gigs. A little unrealistic, I can't see that restoring from a huge file like that is efficient while other lobbies are going on.
Ill try that in the meantime, thanks for the tip.

Unfortunately the is no way to make the reset file smaller. But you can disable the reset and so there is no huge file.
Maker is working very hard to make so much things better, but this takes his time.

Posted May 24, 2014Woah. I made an arena and it took a 10mb world file and made the reset map 500 mb. Is that right? I have like 8 maps. That would be 4 gbs. Just one of these servers is already bigger than my entire 8 server network.
Am I doing something wrong? Can you make the file sizes smaller?

I went through the install, and selected the region area for our sg map, only to find it generate a .map file near 4000mb for the region area I selected around the sg map around 1 mca region file which is only 5mb... that is insane.
I don't even fking want to know if that is how it is going to restore the entire map after each reset.

You can change how long the game is in the config/database.yml with Automaticly-Deathmatch-Time. Unfortunately I do not think you can control how long the deathmatch is.
