Ultimate-Vote

Table of Contents

This plugin allow the players to vote for kick,ban,unban,timeDay,timeNight (and more features for votes). When the action reach "x" votes (default required votes:3, edit in config.yml), it will do the action.

This plugin use bStats. For more informations about what data collects and how to disable it visit bStats page.

1. Put jarfile "Ultimate_Vote.jar" in /plugins/
2. Start the server.
3. Edit in config.yml the required votes for do the action.
4. Enjoy the plugin.

/vote {action} - Example: /vote kick <playerName>.
/vote list - For all the list of actions.
/vote save - Save the config.
/votes - See the currently votes

Normal permissions

uvote.* - Allowed all Normal permissions.
uvote.ban - Allow to /vote ban
uvote.unban - Allow to /vote unban
uvote.kick - Allow to /vote kick
uvote.timeday - Allow to /vote timeday
uvote.timenight - Allow to /vote timenight
uvote.weathersun - Allow to /vote weathersun
uvote.weatherstorm - Allow to /vote weatherstorm
uvote.mute - Allow to /vote mute
uvote.custom - Allow to /vote custom
uvote.showvotes - Allow to view the currently votes. (/votes)
uvote.save - Allow to save the config.

Bypass permissions

uvote.bypass.* - You can't be voted for both voteKick and voteBan, also you can use any custom command for voting.
uvote.bypass.kick - You can't be voted for voteKick.
uvote.bypass.ban - You can't be voted for voteBan.
uvote.bypass.commands - You can use any custom command for vote.

and one could make multiple votes or even against his previous choices (the amount of votes would decrease)

This plugin is intended to be used to help users while there's no Moderator/Admin on server to kick/change weather. It's not intended to be used while u give a diamond to vote. One user = one vote.

Hi, I have recently downloaded this for my server, and was wondering if there was any way unopped players are able to initiate a vote for a specific category?

Of course!

You only need to give to individual an user or to a group/groups the permission, for example you want an user or a group/groups to use /vote timeday, you can add the permission uvote.timeday, and so on.

Check under "Permissions" to see each permission for the vote commands.

new discovery and maybe just because nobody every told me about it before; but the uvote.timenight permission node doesnt seem to work. my unopped players get a "you do not have permission to do this!" warning which doesnt even register to the console.

I can do some scheduled timings. Like, after a vote started, to end automaticaly in 'x' minutes. I will work tomorrow on this :D Thanks for suggestion.

i have another request: would it be possible to integrate some sort of time out so that incomplete votes dont just run forever? seems like we have 1 or 2 trolls who like to keep the reminder going constantly.

Thanks for this suggestion. I've worked for reminder until the vote completes. Next version: v1.2 (will be the reminder integrated). this plugin seems to work perfectly, except the fact that nobody knows about active votes when they are initiated. plz integrate some sort of visual cue when the vote is first started, and a configurable reminder until the vote completes.

@xQxQx I dont dislike it, I really love the idea of it, Your doing amazing job just a few bugs that all, No one is perfect at doing this stuff we all learn from our errors and mistakes ^.^
