To run this plugin with Spigot 1.8 you will need the latest version of uCars and the latest version of Spigotmc's updated Protocollib. The 1.8 compatible ProtocolLib can be downloaded from http://ci.shadowvolt.com/job/ProtocolLib/ (courtesy of http://spigotmc.org )! The newest version of uCars can be downloaded from https://stormdev.org/jenkins/

Summary

uCars is a bukkit car plugin with lots of optional, awesome extra features. For more info on this plugin, read about the plugin below! uCars is cars in minecraft. It is made by the stormdev team. Happy driving in your cars! (Yes cars, cars, cars, cars, cars! You really can drive cars with this plugin! If you want your cars to be craftable, upgradeable,etc... Then also download uCarsTrade; if you just want super smooth cars with an extensive API then just download this car plugin! (You may also consider downloading the MarioKart addon if yours if a minigame server))

uCars is an incredibly versatile, seamless car plugin for Minecraft. It offers players the chance to drive around in Minecarts smoothly as if they were part of the game.

uCars also comes with many other optional cool addons to make driving that bit more fun!

Don't give them the permission ucars.cars in what ever world you don't want them to use it..

Is there any way to prevent Cars from being placed freely in a Multiverse server? I have both Creative and Survival and want to disable it so people can't use it as an alternate transportation method in Survival.

Is there a way of turning of PVP when you are in a cart ?

The turret option is set to false, I have this in a non PVP towny world and it's over riding towny perms and enabling PVP when you are in a cart...

Try making sure your server is using that installed jre. If it still won't work then please create a ticket and share with me the error message! :)
-EDIT: In command line you may have something like this: 'java -jar bukkit.jar' to launch the server. Try replacing the 'java' with the location of the java runnable on your system, on windows it's normally: 'C:/Users/[User]/Program Files/Java/jre7/java.exe -jar bukkit.jar'. However on mac it will be different and I'm not sure what! :) ?... Although it should be easy enough to find the directory.

Will this work on a mac? If not, what should I do?
EDIT: No, it doesn't work. Should I put jre-7u25-macosx-x64.dmg (which is the download for mac)
EDIT 2: That doesn't work either. I tried JavaAppletPlugin.plugin, but that didn't work either. Do you know what I should do?

Try installing iconomy on top of your current one as a bridge because some economy plugins don't work nicely with ucars, if not, have you got vault installed? @SwingDude

The server must be launching of and old installed jre, try launching with the java.exe on the command line, instead of just 'java'.

I haven't yet heard of such need for this feature. If you would like it then please create a ticket with it as a feature idea.

Why can cars drive underwater?! Surely they should either blow up and damage the driver for X amount of damage or just drop? I feel that the fact that the speed isn't even altered when underwater takes away from the awesomeness of this plugin! please fix this ahha!

That doesn't work. I have upgraded to the latest java (7.25) and I have also upgraded my Adobe.
EDIT: I have downloaded the latest JRE for my computer. What should I do now?
EDIT 2: I have tried uninstalling java and re-installing it.

This works on all surfaces, why cant you make it so you can select what block it will work on, i.e sponge so the cart will only move on sponge (plus the boost blocks)

As it is it will work on anything

If I'm driving on a stone slab (or other slabs too), I'm jumping very high.. But its not the jump block I set.
