To run this plugin with Spigot 1.8 you will need the latest version of uCars and the latest version of Spigotmc's updated Protocollib. Summary
uCars is a bukkit car plugin with lots of optional, awesome extra features. For more info on this plugin, read about the plugin below! uCars is cars in minecraft. It is made by the stormdev team. Happy driving in your cars! (Yes cars, cars, cars, cars, cars! You really can drive cars with this plugin! If you want your cars to be craftable, upgradeable,etc... Then also download uCarsTrade; if you just want super smooth cars with an extensive API then just download this car plugin! (You may also consider downloading the MarioKart addon if yours if a minigame server))
uCars is an incredibly versatile, seamless car plugin for Minecraft. It offers players the chance to drive around in Minecarts smoothly as if they were part of the game.

Sorry, must have missed you out! Right... Try updating ucars, craftbukkit and make sure everything is the latest version. Ucars issues similar to this have already been reported and investigation on these will start tomorrow (I overslept today). Hopefully, if the above doesn't work, a solution will be found soon.

Sorry, this is a slight bug in how minecraft physics don't react brilliantly to ucars. This issue is already under address. As for the detection issue, use a ucars hook and call the inACar(playername) method and check if they aren't inside a vehicle! :D

which would then cancel the fly detection even (that is only normally called if the player is using a client hacked flymode)
you see the carts have a fun time bouncing into the air occasionally and it pops off our secret methods of detecting fly hackers'

No, it isn't java 8. It is compiled with java 6, but sometimes it needs a newer java (eg. Latest java 7) to run. Also, the most common cause is that the host has the java 7, but is launching the server with an outdated java 6 jre. Try checking the exact version of java the server is running on. An easy way to do this is to use the bukkit plugin, useful's uhost feature. That can tell you. When done tell me the java version and then you can uninstall useful. I am willing to bet that the java version isn't the latest!

My server is running on a provider. And the message came from the server.
My provider does not then install the latest version?
I spoke with my provider. He says he would have installed the latest version.
He suspects that you have used the developer kit from Java8.
An official version but there will be only at the beginning of 2014. Before that my provider does not install any version of Java8.
