To run this plugin with Spigot 1.8 you will need the latest version of uCars and the latest version of Spigotmc's updated Protocollib. Summary
uCars is a bukkit car plugin with lots of optional, awesome extra features. For more info on this plugin, read about the plugin below! uCars is cars in minecraft. It is made by the stormdev team. Happy driving in your cars! (Yes cars, cars, cars, cars, cars! You really can drive cars with this plugin! If you want your cars to be craftable, upgradeable,etc... Then also download uCarsTrade; if you just want super smooth cars with an extensive API then just download this car plugin! (You may also consider downloading the MarioKart addon if yours if a minigame server))
uCars is an incredibly versatile, seamless car plugin for Minecraft. It offers players the chance to drive around in Minecarts smoothly as if they were part of the game.

The bugs described are generally caused by lag. However the defspeed causing them is new! Thanks for reporting this! :) . BTW a defspeed of one is incredibly slow :p. Also placing glitches are bukkit and lag bugs. (Same bug can randomly occur for any vehicle placement occasionally :( )

Posted Apr 27, 2013It's fine in 1.5.1-R0.2 (beta) for me, but I have an issue with blocks that are not road blocks.
When I drive on them, they boost me up in the air and the more I press W the higher I go. Same seems to happen when I'm going "downstairs" so from one road block down to another one, it just boost me when I should be falling.
All I want to have is black wool being faster than grey, others don't work at all. And perhaps one block that boost you up in the air, but this config seems to not work properly: http://pastie.org/7728619 (I have set all the Boost etc. blocks to diamond blocks for testing purposes).

Oh, that came from the "defSpeed" which was set too low :D That causes some really weird behaviours as described above. I'll still let it stay here for other people :)
One still unsolved problem is that when you place a minecart in creative it places 13 of them at a time XD If you could fix that it would be awesome :)

Hmmm. Interesting, if you have previous java installs on the machine try checking if the server is DEFINITELY running on the jre for java 7 and not any previous ones? (Eg. Check you PATH and CLASSPATH environment variables)
