What's New?
- /tweet <message> will post a tweet for the main user (Admins Only or/permission)
- Add multiple users in Usernames in the config (Main User MUST be following these users)
- Custom Colors (topDivider, title, username, tweet, and bottomDivider
- Custom Message: minimal, normal (minimal without username and truncated after 35 characters
- Clickable Links (Minecraft dependent: Bukkit fixed the issue in 1.7.4)
Description
Ever wanted to bring twitter to Minecraft? Well now you can with TweetCraft! TweetCraft allows you to display your tweets real-time in Minecraft Chat. TweetCraft is so easy to use and install. ONLY 1 .jar file. No more OAuth setup jars either.
Installation
- Drag the .jar file to your plugins folder and run the server.
- When the config.yml is generated, stop the server.
- For a quick start, please take a look at our sample config.yml
- There are seven easy steps on the installation continued page.
- Go to dev.twitter.com/apps.
- Go to the Installation Continued page.
Coming Soon
- Reward players when they tweet @yourusername (In Progress)
- Reward Player when they Follow you! (In Progress)
- Reward Players when they Retweet a tweet! (In Progress)
- Make plugin lightweight (There is so much code that goes into this, so, maybe a while)
Permissions

Great.
I've used a trick to do it: sending instructions and messages between servers, 'cause my plugin run fine in that server but not in the main one (as yours).
I think is a bug with some plugin I've in it :|
I'll try your hotfix when released as testing. This method it's fine for me right now, until you add the retweet reward :D
I've created a new point system that now works fine with a pre-written tweet. The player that tweet a message gain some points. Easy and effective :)
Let me know about the new version! It must not break a thing! 32k users are a lot and I can't lose data ;)

I think i know what the issue is. The config MUST be the new version, that can be found on the "Example Config" page. I am about to upload a 3.0 hotfix sometime today that will fix this. But all you would need to do is get the new config.

There might be some issue with the config (or maybe with your Oauth Keys). Try and check your permissions on the Twitter Application you have created. I am confused by this, since my plugin works on Bukkit and Spigot perfectly. I have tested it on both with no errors. I am still checking for what could happen.

I'm having lot of works (luckly). For that reason I didn't write the plugin by myself.
If I'll have some break I can take a look at the code and help you with some line of code ;)
For now I need to know who is the problem, the possible plugin that break with yours...

Yea, i understand. I know 100% that it is a conflict with another plugin or something. I have spent MANY hours getting everything perfect before i uploaded. And i did test it on Spigot with 0 Errors. As well as bukkit.
Also, the reward stuff is being implemented in 4.0 sorry about that, forgot to edit the desc. BUT if you would like to help me, we could get the plugin out faster :D

Maybe it's a bug with other plugins.
I did a plugin that tweets for our own use but I was interested in your ideas to give rewards for retweets and when someone tag me in a tweet so...
I hope to see it fixed (if I have this issues maybe other can have it too...)

LOL. well i just tested it on spigot and it works perfectly. i am guessing you did not give read,write, and access to direct messages permissions to your twitter app. i am actually about to make a video on how to setup everything. sense twitter changed their layout. ill post it in a couple of hours. sorry for the inconvenience .

Big Servers like mine don't use bukkit but modified versions of it. In my opinion it's important to let it works with any version.

Are you a bukkit staff member? If not, how did you get the v3.0 even when it has not been approved? I have even downloaded the file i uploaded and it works perfectly with bukkit, although i do not know about spigot.

What do you mean? TweetCraft 3.0 has not gotten approved yet. That means you can not download it. When it becomes available, you can download it and it will work.
