TTT (Trouble In Terrorist Town)

What is TTT?
Inspired by the popular Garry's Mod gamemode Trouble In Terrorist Town, this plugin attempts to emulate the game in Minecraft. At the start of a round, players are assigned a role: Innocent, or Traitor. It is the job of each group to eliminate the other. While the traitors are outnumbered, they have the advantage of knowing the role of all players. It will be up to the Innocents to decide who should live, and who's a traitor.
Note: This plugin requires the latest version of Steel.

Help, It's Broken!
If you should encounter a bug not listed on this BukkitDev project, please create an issue explaining in detail the bug and the steps taken to produce it. Please include an error log (if applicable), as I generally can't do anything without it. Please refrain from reporting bugs in the comments!
Translating TTT
I've set up a Crowdin page to help organize translations for the plugin. If you speak a language other than English, you can head over and contribute translations which will eventually be included in the plugin. It's really easy to use, and has an intuitive interface to make translating as painless as possible.
bStats/Telemetry
This plugin is designed to submit anonymous usage statistics to bStats.org. This includes a UUID, the Java version, online mode, plugin version, server version, OS version and arch, CPU core count, player count, and metrics version. This may be toggled via the plugin-metrics config key. Click here to see them.
Additionally, TTT submits anonymous usage data to a remote server. This includes a UUID, the plugin version, the Flint API level, the plugin's operating mode, and summary statistics regarding arenas and rounds. This may be toggled via the enable-telemetry config key.
Disclaimer
TTT includes an auto-updater which will automatically download new updates to the plugin by default. This may be toggled via the auto-update key in the config.

Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk. Additionally, these builds often undergo little to no testing, so there is no guarantee they will function properly. You can download them here.

Unfortunately, that functionality is not currently present in the plugin.

Posted Jun 12, 2013Do you have multiverse support? I would prefer to import the worlds with that instead.

It really depends on how you implement it. While it broadcasts certain messages to the entire server (namely, when players join rounds, and when rounds end), it's designed to be run in the background of a server. However, it can easily be turned into a full-server plugin by simply not having other functionality. I plan on adding lobbies in a near update in order to add to the potential for server-wide implementation.

What is your server IP set to in the server.properties file? The plugin assumes you're running BungeeCord or on a LAN if set to 127.0.0.1 or localhost. I don't have experience with BungeeCord, so I probably did something wrong. Let me know what other IPs the server can be configured to so I can add them to the whitelist.

Posted Jun 11, 2013I have a lot of background in Garry's mod servers, and still run TTT. If you have questions on how specific systems work in the TTT gamemode, shoot me an email at madkillermax@live.com There is no better way to get a hold of me then that. I can usually respond within the hour easy.

Oh my God...
That plugin looks awesome. I'll see if I can get permission from its author to use its code, and if not, I'll try to hook into it so this function will be available to servers with the plugin installed.
EDIT: I decompiled it, and it shouldn't be too difficult to hook into. The tricky part will be making the inventories uneditable...

Posted Jun 11, 2013This may be to much, but you could have players bodies look like this http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-mods/corpses-mod/ instead of the chests. And when they right click on the body you could have a chest open up with different color wools with names and lore on them that tell if they were a traitor/innocent/whatever like this http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-mods/chest-commands/ again, I don't know if it's to much or not but I'm just throwing out my ideas.
EDIT: In no way am I advertising other plugins, if that's a thing, I'm just using them as examples.

Honestly, read some of the comments. This has been discussed before, and I've already given an answer.

You do know all these games are based off of Trouble In Terrorist Town in Garry's Mod. So is your Sabotage. That's why all these are similar to eachother. The original game had traitor testers, traitors, innocents, detectives, and various things detectives/traitors could buy. They also had a karma system that would indicate bad players from good trusted players.
So I dunno why you would state the obvious. Sabotage from mcpvp is almost EXACTLY the same as TTT from GMod. This plugin as well as many other TTT or trouble in mine town as some may call it, were based off the same game. Obviously they'll be the same.

As it says on the main page, 0.3 adds support for BungeeCord servers. You can grab the latest bleeding-edge build off of the Jenkins repository. If you run an offline server but not for the sake of BungeeCord, then you're out of luck. I would strongly recommend making your server online, as hosting a cracked server is insecure and supports piracy.
