Tribu - A Zombie Survival Game

What is it ?
Tribu is a zombie survival game in which you can set zombie spawns. Zombies will appear wave by wave once the game is started. You have to kill them! Each kill will get you money and points, and with the money you can buy items to kill more zombies. The game will stop when everyone is dead.

How to use
Language file customization (advanced)
Basically, the player has to type /tribu enter to enter the game, but a game has to have been made by an op with the command /tribu start.

No new Versions???? When my players die, they dont drop there inventory. When i removed the plugin it worked fine again? Bugs....plz fix and add new features :) :(

those are not starter packages only packages they can buy. You can not do "starter" packages with this plugin.
the tribu join this the first player gets teleported as they START the maps going the rest need to wait for the next wave. this keeps others from hopping in and extending a game infiantely by /tribu leave and then /tribu join. If not that way then they could just spam those 2 a have infinate lives on each wave.

And I followed the instructions of drumming102, but the players still don't get the items when they join. Is there something getting lost in translation? The packages are things that are given when the game starts, correct?

Ah okay, then could you explain the package feature? I thought it was for giving starter kits.
Also, when i set teleportplayers to false, dead players dont get teleported. Is this a bug?

I will make sure that this featuer works well, if I forgot, I gonna do a 0.6.1 soon after.
For disabling a message simply put a empty string like "" as value for a given message node.

TeleportPlayers: true means every players are teleported at wave start, set this to false means only dead players are teleported

Posted Jul 6, 2012I know I keep posting, but I keep finding little issues. 3 things this time...
1) Occasionally, a player will die for real, and will be taken back to spawn, instead of the plugin's death event.
2) Not really a bug, but could you add an option to make a 'Pay' sign repeatable? In other words, the player will have to pay EACH time he uses it, instead of a 1 time fee? This will allow for things like Mystery Boxes and also paying to use a dispenser.
3) Only the first person to type /tribu join will get teleported to the map. For everyone else, it just says "You have joined the human alliance against the zombies" or something like that.

Posted Jul 6, 2012Another thing... is there a way to teleport players ONLY if they're "dead". I'd like to have a balcony thing where dead players go to watch, and then when the next round starts, they get teleported back down. However, I dont want ALL players teleported back =/

Okay I did that, but players still don't receive the package when the game starts. Do I have to type something to get the actual package? When I do /tribu package list, it shows the package on the current map.

Posted Jul 6, 2012I'm also a little confused about how packages work. Im trying to add armor and a few splash potions that are given to you when you start, but I cant seem to figure it out. Could you please explain this to me?

Thanks. And by rewards, I meant rewards that you keep AFTER the game is over. My server isn't based on this plugin, it's only a mini-game. Is there a way to make it so, for example, after 15 rounds, you get awarded a diamond or maybe $100 iConomy money?
Also one more thing... I'm trying to add splash potions as buyable things (like grenades), but I cant put them in a dispenser because they just get shot out and explode. Is there any way to add them on to a Buy sign?

Seems to not work on 0.5? Is this a known issue?
Also hows the work on 0.6?
Love the changes so far, and we are planning a second version of our map, also MonsterApocolypse works great now (with unlmited pathfinding range).
We got someone to make us a plugin for displaying points, and now points are displayed on a vanilla client as their exp meter. (again using iConomy)
So the next version will be able to disable the message for particular events? And what would be example syntax?

Yes appli . You can use the spawn control signs and it works great. The only problem being the arena rebuild does not work with redstone YET (but he said it's comming soon) I have 3 maps I have set up this way and they work great, just have them currently disabled since they don;t rebuild.

Tribu is not a copy of Nazi Zombies (I actually didn't known this game before) nor a copy of MobArena. You get rewarded by killing zombies, if you finish the round it means you kill all zombies, this also means that if you are useless in the round, you will not be able to buy items and will die in excruciating pain because of lack of stuff !
About the zombie spawn control, please read the wiki..
But here is how it works :
Create a sign and put :
Zombie Spawner
Spawn name
(of course you replace "Spawn name" )
then put a redstone directly on it, when the redstone will have current, the spawn will be active, and vice versa.
