Tossers
Tossers prevents creepers from exploding, instead they will jump on your head - biting you and dragging you aroud.
This is a re-release of Tossers, the original posting can be found right here.
Featues
- Creepers don't explode (unless you want a percentage of them to, see the config file).
- Creepers jump on your head, technically 'mounting' you. It's most distressing.
- While on your head, they'll bite you and toss you around.
- If a creeper is damaged while munching, they'll fall off (and go back to chasing you around all hungry like).
- Creepers will do this to any creature that annoys them, including poorly trained skeletons.
- You can configure pretty much everything in a handy dandy config file.
Video
There is a (rather old) Demo Video available here, showcasing my poor typing skills and a rather old version of the plugin. Rather.

Awesome! They're fun to make. If you feel like making some kind of donation, donate to MSF (Doctors Without Borders), not me.

Posted Aug 2, 2012Wicked plugin, my players love it and hate it all at once.
But it seems to fight a bit with MobRider (v0.46.1-b46 I get this:
[SEVERE] Could not pass event EntityDamageByEntityEvent to MobRider
every time a creeper tackles a player. It still works as expected, but lags a bit and vomits a long error stream starting with the above (CB=RB5). Not sure if it's their problem or yours.

Posted May 19, 2012Found a couple bugs...
1) When they latch onto a player's head, they seem to be up 0-2 blocks above the player, meaning the 3rd/4th block up from the ground (player's head is 2 up). When the player is in a dungeon only 2-4 blocks high, under a tree with leaves above their head, or anywhere else where there are blocks 0-2 blocks higher than the player's head, the creeper becomes glitched and is completely hidden inside the blocks above the player (on top of the tree in the leaves case), and can still do damage. If the player realizes what is going on, they better hope they can get to a spot with more space above their head or else they will die.
2) I had to take the tossing addition to the plugin off.. I would have loved to use it, but no matter what setting I had it at, it was too high of a "throw" for my liking. Not only that, but the creeper would often continue to throw the player when the player was still in the air! This resulted in them both coming crashing down, usually killing the creeper and either doing a lot of damage to the player or even killing him primarily from the fall.
Anyways, I still enjoy using this plugin.. I have hated the damage vanilla creepers do to the land and map ever since I've started playing Minecraft, so they've always been turned off. With this plugin, at least creepers will do more than just fizzle out. They can actually be something to fear! So thanks for giving me that option and I love your idea and plugin. Keep up the great work! :)
PS: If possible, could you give the creepers more of an animation of getting to the player's head? At the moment it's just: 1) walk close enough, 2) fizzle like they're going to explode, 3) glitch 0-5 blocks onto the player's head. If you could remove the fizzle step, it might make it more realistic as well. Thanks and I hope to hear back from you on the possibilities!
