TorchLightAdvanced
TorchLightAdvanced allows you to easily go through caves without needing to wastefully place torches. By simply holding any of a few items in your hand, your surroundings will be lit up without needing to place torches.
Setup
To use this plugin, just place the jar file into your server's plugins folder. That's all there is to it! There is no configuration and are no permissions to set up.
Items to hold
Hold any of these items in your hand to light up your surroundings
- Glowstone
- Glowstone Dust
- Jack o'Lantern
- Lava
- Lava Bucket
- Nether Star
- Redstone Block
- Redstone Torch
- Torch

example:
Glowstone_block: true
Glowstone_dust: false
Redstone_block: false
Redstone_torch: false
Torch: true.........

Minecraft's Lighting doesn't support what you think a normal torch would react. this is why there is glowstone under the player. Plus if it did support lights that moved with the player... it'd cause a whole lot more of lag... hehe^_^

Yes, that would make sense as well. This is for all of the people who rant on lag, increase your server ram or get better specs. I don't have the ability to tell your computer to "not lag" with this plugin. Its programmed as it is and is very efficient with its purpose.
