ToolRep
INACTIVE As I do not play Minecraft myself anymore, I will not continue this Mod. I built it with as few dependencies as possible, so it might be possible to use on newer versions (1.6.x confirmed). But I will not update it in the future or add new features anymore.
If you'd like to clone/continue yourself, give word if you need the code.
Love building bigger projects without creative mode?
Getting tired of working with slow stone/metal tools but lacking diamonds?
Want to make your heavily enchanted armor indestrucable?
Features:
- ToolRep automatically repairs tools and armor. Making them practically indestructable!
- Works for enchanted stuff, too!
- Fully configurable! Decide which items/armor are to be repaired and which are not.
- Performance friendly: Did not have noticable performance drain so far, even when running on a slow machine.
Installation
Just drop the .jar into your \plugins folder and reload or restart the server.
A folder with the config file is automatically created.
Configuration
You can configure the list of items which should get repaired:
- items: A list of tool item IDs, which are to be automatically repaired
- armor: A list of armor item IDs, which are to be automatically repaired
Misc
- No Permission support. Settings are global.
- No Commands so far. If you need something, write a feature request.
- Built with 1.5.1, but should be compatible with 1.5.2 (untested!)
Kown issues
- When using tool damage altering plugins like TreeAssist, it can happen that tools are not instantly repaired after use, but only after the next 2-3 uses. You can also right-click into the air, then it gets repaired.
- When using the bow, it sometimes happens that the repair takes place while drawing the arrow. Nothing serious but still noticable.

Fully automatic and keeping enchantments =)
It's already done. Just took me a while to get used to devbukkit/curse project and file management. Didn't think its that hard to publish a minecraft mod ;)
If you're missing something or encounter any bug, just let me know; I appreciate feedback, especially since this is my first mod ever.

Posted Jun 11, 2013This sounds awesome!
No workbench repairs? Just automatic? Does it keep all the enchantments?
I'd love this in my server - when do you expect completion?
Will definitely subscribe!
