Table of Contents

This plugin will synchronize the game time with the server time. The time that it takes will be in the config.

Commands

/timelikeme enable = Puts current world on synchronization list
/timelikeme disable = Removes current world from synchronization list

Usage

Download file
Put file in plugins folder
Reload / restart your server
Watch the time slowly pass by

Messages can be changed in the config, supporting color codes.

There is really no possible way to keep the moon from changing phases unless you have it run the command "/time set (time)" 8 times which could make the server a bit laggy. I hope my plugin knowledge has helped!

Timtower congrats on getting mod! I have a suggestion for this plugin, you should add a feature so that you can sync the game time with real time E.G. use time zones e.g GMT+ Eastern time (+5:00)

Changed the config ( auto conversion ), now you can use seconds and ticks, so changing the time every server tick is possible now.
Moon phases hasn't change with the new version yet, so lucky us
It is still spazzing a bit but I can't fix that ( changing time every server tick ) This is just a conflict between the server and the client

It is safe, just don't know if anything will happen when you do it.

Will edit some stuff to show that ( also editing it to work with ticks additionally )
Will look into it ( no promises )
Will add seconds to my calculations, will allow smoother time

This is AWESOME! One question though... Is it safe to set the refresh time to 0 seconds? I have it at one second and I still see jumping during sunset (I'm assuming it'd be the same during sunrise as well)...

My three cents on improvement possibilities...

1. I think the config could be a bit better worded. It says "Time: 10" as default and I struggled for a few minutes trying to figure out if that was the thing to set the game time or not. I didn't realize until much later when I noticed the time was refreshing about every 10 seconds on the dynamic map that it was the reset time in seconds! It should say... "Reset Time (Seconds): 10"

2. A slightly more difficult thing... I noticed that the moon cycles between full, thumbnail and new moon phases every few seconds. It kinda bugs me (OCD) and I don't know how long it will take until it starts to bug others lol... It kinda subtracts from the realism. Maybe if you have time, finding a way to smooth that would help!

3. Kinda hand-in-hand with the first two things... If there was a way to smooth the sun and the moon's movement, that would add a lot to the game. I don't notice as much during full daylight, but that's probably because my texture pack animates the sun to glow.

Those are three things I noticed that can be improved upon. Otherwise, it's an essential plugin to have for a realistic server! THANKS FOR MAKING THIS, AND PLEASE CONTINUE TO UPDATE IT SO WE CAN KEEP USING IT! ^__^

My wishes: MultiWorld Support and the option to set a day/night cylce to 6 hours...
