Longer Time

What is Longer Time?

Realistic Time is a plugin which increase the time for a Day in Minecraft! So if you put this plugin on your server you have longer Days,nights, evenings and mornings. This gives your Server more realistic for example if you have a Roleplay server and you want longer days you can use my plugin to realize that.

Configuration

To use my plugin you should do this: 1. Download the plugin 2. Put it in the Plugins folder 3. Start your Server - The Plugin will create a folder in the plugin folder which is called like the plugin. 4. Open the config.yml in the plugin folder 5. In the config you can edit the length of Days, Nights, morning and evening separatly. Example: times: night: 4 morning: 8 day: 12 evening: 16 The value of every time must be between 0-19 or the plugin will not work! The value stands for time which takes x% longer.

Value 0 = 0% longer
Value 1 = 10% longer
Value 2 = 20% longer
Value 3 = 30% longer
Value 4 = 40% longer
Value 5 = 50% longer
Value 6 = 60% longer
Value 7 = 70% longer
Value 7 = 80% longer
Value 9 = 90% longer
Value 10 = 100% longer
Value 11 = 110% longer
Value 12 = 120% longer
Value 13 = 130% longer
Value 14 = 140% longer
Value 15 = 150% longer
Value 16 = 160% longer
Value 17 = 170% longer
Value 18 = 180% longer
Value 19 = 190% longer

has this been abandoned? if so then is there possibly anywho who has picked up the project and configured it for 1.11 yet? id really like to be able to use this pluggin!

To achieve this are you modifying the game tickrate? If not how do you accomplish this?

Surprisingly, it still works on 1.7.9 and I am sure it works for 1.7.10. :)

Now, how we get 200% ???

The config file that gets created contains information that conflicts with this page. It says:

Here you can define how long a day can be. 4 means that it needs 20% more time. 8 = 40%. 12 = 60%. 16=80%. You can also use other variables but important is that the variable is between 0 and 19 and that it has no comma!

This page currently says:

So..., which is correct?

Also in a separate issue, I find that mornings and evenings seem to still pass at normal rates, regardless of the config settings. The twitching of the sun/moon and the cycling of the moon phases that happens during the night doesn't happen in the evening or morning, and time seems to pass faster then. Are the settings different for those 2 lines, or are they just not working in 1.7.5? This issue is very minor, but I thought I'd point it out to see if there's an easy fix.

I just tried this and it seems to work fine on 1.7.5. At a setting of 10 (100% longer?) on all config entries, there is a slight twitch to the movement of the sun/moon, but it's hard to notice.

I give it a thumbs up, because it works as described and doesn't seem to cause any problems.

The plugin works okay, but the sun/moon is flickering at the slow cycles I need ;-;

Any chance you could update the plugin using the 1.6 event for longer times?

This plugin uses it, works perfectly except the config file doesn't save >_<

this makes it possible to have veeeery long cycles. And I need a cycle thats 1440% longer, not just 160 :'(

The moon seems to go through all it's cycles and you can see a small little jump... almost like a ticking clock arm..... Time adjusts properly and all..... but seeing the animation for the moon constantly cycle through repeatedly is awkward though.... MCPC+ on technic launcher 1.6.4 using LongerTimev1 for cb 1.6.4

I am happy with it. The plugin works great. The Sun movement is a little weird, but I suspect there's nothing we can do about it.
