Thy Holy Blood

For sure, we all thought about it, right? Minecraft having blood... The epic experience.

Thy Holy Blood is an extremely lightweight plugin to replicate blood into the Minecraft world.
Players bleed upon getting hurt... so do mobs!

You do not need to run any commands for blood to take effect, and everyone gets the blood effect (I will add a permission system later, don't worry).
Simply download the plugin, put the JAR file in your server's plugins folder, and reload.
