TerrainControl is an advanced world generator. Through various configuration files it gives the user control over almost every aspect of Minecraft terrain generation, with no knowledge of Java required. It can be used on Bukkit or Forge servers and on singleplayer with Forge. TerrainControl is the successor to the old PhoenixTerrainMod, which was based on the popular BiomeTerrainMod.

Metrics
As of Terrain Control 2.4.13, the plugin sends some stats to mcstats.org, a service by Hidendra and others. You can view the stats here. Terrain Control won't upload your configs, it will only send your BiomeMode along with some information of your computer. You can toggle it off by setting opt-out to true in the metrics config file. More information is available on this wiki page.

How to use

TerrainControl is more complex than most Bukkit plugins, so it may take a while to get into - but the results are worth it. If you want to create your own world, be sure to check our documentation. If you have done some reading and still have problems using TerrainControl, just post to our forums and we'll try to figure it out.

Posted Jan 5, 2012@ Hollow: i don't think that its work with PTM. Maybe it works in 1.7.3. bit i think that you doesn't see that it not works, because PTM is for 1.7.3 and in 1.7.3 the darkgreen swampland bioms doesn't exist.
@favorlock: try to set landrarity to 100

Posted Jan 4, 2012Ok, so I for some reason am having the hardest time gettting this plugin to simply remove oceans from generation. I don't want them and I don't need them, all they do is crash my server. I tried using the 1.7.3 generator, oceans still didn't go away.

Posted Jan 4, 2012@Hollow36rus: it could, but temperature and humidity is biom specific and this calculate the client with the help of the seed ^^
the temperature and humidity in the config of terrain control is only for the server. you can see it when you stand on a grasblock with a light green texture an show the biom info with /tc biom -f and on a grasblock with a dark swamp texture near the lightgreen one. the infos which you get by /tc biome -f are the same. and this shows that the client generate the color on the original seed bioms.
i have no other explanation for that.

Posted Jan 4, 2012@woca: i know that. but it was much easier when there is a legend, because i have 9 normal bioms + 2 ice bioms + 2 isle bioms and the water. this means i have 14 different colors and my brain isn't so good so i can't keep it in my mind ^^
@Hollow36rus at this moment you can't do anything to change the gras color. i try to explain why. terrain control changes the bioms at the server and not on the client. the server sends the world seed to the client and the client calculate the bioms and the grass color on the given seed. to disable the grass coloring or the right coloring of gras we must wait of an spoutplugin and then you need spoutcraft. when you only wood disable the gras and leave color you can try to modify an texture pack
