TerrainControl is an advanced world generator. Through various configuration files it gives the user control over almost every aspect of Minecraft terrain generation, with no knowledge of Java required. It can be used on Bukkit or Forge servers and on singleplayer with Forge. TerrainControl is the successor to the old PhoenixTerrainMod, which was based on the popular BiomeTerrainMod.

Metrics
As of Terrain Control 2.4.13, the plugin sends some stats to mcstats.org, a service by Hidendra and others. You can view the stats here. Terrain Control won't upload your configs, it will only send your BiomeMode along with some information of your computer. You can toggle it off by setting opt-out to true in the metrics config file. How to use

TerrainControl is more complex than most Bukkit plugins, so it may take a while to get into - but the results are worth it. If you want to create your own world, be sure to check our documentation. If you have done some reading and still have problems using TerrainControl, just post to our forums and we'll try to figure it out.

Downloads

You'll always find the newest approved stable builds here. As of 2.4, the files will work on both Bukkit and Forge servers (without the need of something like MCPC+) and on singleplayer with Forge. Installation instructions can be found here.
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

I`ve created a new Tree (Download .bo2-File).
2 Screens here:
This screen shows it in Soartex 64 HD-Texture-Pack
... and this 2 screens shows it in Misas 64 HD-Texture-Pack
The new Tree spawns only to elevation 0 - 85 and in Biome (if present):
Plains, Rainforest, Savanna, Scrubland, Taiga, Tundra

I download this plugin for the OldGenerator fonctionnality, man you're god for doing this, but this doesn't working, I continue to have the fucking ocean and the boring terrain generator.
So, i put this in my bukkit.yml :
And, i edit your WorldConfig.ini, like that :
When the world is getting generated for the first time, no error in my console, and this when the generation process start :
But, when I went to the map.... It's the 1.0.0 generation... Too bad.
Can you help me ? I run on a local server, on Mac, with the last Bukkit recommended build (#1597).
Oh, and please don't care of my bad english, I'm a french native. Thank you.

when the water flows it flows like lava, but sometimes it doesn't flow. i generate the world with terraincontrol on a seperate server. the only other plugin on this server was dynmap. because of this i think the problem comes from terraincontrol

I was just working to make spawn. And then it started lagging so i checked console and i saw it spammed 100 msg a second that the map was corrupted.

Check out the plugin WorldBorder. You first need to setup a a border, and then use the /wb fill command. Look at the tutorial for that on the plugin page :) and then simply remove the border when done

Do you know of a way i can "pregenerate" it.
Have the world generate up to say 150 by 150 chunks?
Can tc do this or is there another plugin that can help me?

Posted Dec 25, 2011Already have a corrupted world :S http://pastie.org/3073221 and so the list goes on.... Is it normal that this plugin corrupt worlds? If it hoopens often i will go use a default map :/ But then i wasted so much time creating it. Please tell me this is a special case. And that it wont happen again. I hate it to have a corrupted world and to reset everything. I have now just removed the world and tried it again. But i just want to know if this is normal.

With one setting in the WorldConfig you can completely disable them, yes.
