TerrainControl is an advanced world generator. Through various configuration files it gives the user control over almost every aspect of Minecraft terrain generation, with no knowledge of Java required. It can be used on Bukkit or Forge servers and on singleplayer with Forge. TerrainControl is the successor to the old PhoenixTerrainMod, which was based on the popular BiomeTerrainMod.

Metrics
As of Terrain Control 2.4.13, the plugin sends some stats to mcstats.org, a service by Hidendra and others. You can view the stats here. Terrain Control won't upload your configs, it will only send your BiomeMode along with some information of your computer. You can toggle it off by setting opt-out to true in the metrics config file. How to use

TerrainControl is more complex than most Bukkit plugins, so it may take a while to get into - but the results are worth it. If you want to create your own world, be sure to check our documentation. If you have done some reading and still have problems using TerrainControl, just post to our forums and we'll try to figure it out.

Downloads

You'll always find the newest approved stable builds here. As of 2.4, the files will work on both Bukkit and Forge servers (without the need of something like MCPC+) and on singleplayer with Forge. Installation instructions can be found here.
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

The Problem is, im using a rented server which doestn let me only control with Contol Panel. And the control panel isnt saving logg and bukkit doestn save it when its crashing. So thats the only captureable Data which i can get.

It's a client problem, the biomes aren't transferred correctly - so the generated terrain uses the TC-configured biomes while the client renders weather and grass color using notch configuration. Cannot be fixed within the plugin, Khorn might write a clientside plugin using spout to solve this problem.

Posted Dec 15, 2011hm i have a issue on my deserts, i did not changed anything in my biome config but the weather has problems i see rain and snow, without terraincontrol my deserts has no such issues.
if i use a regenaration tool of my chunks, the seed seems to be correkt, only the weather is stupid
edit: oh it seems that snow falls everywhere... wtf

I played a little with the ores in config because someone has asked some time ago for configs to "more ores" ... ;-)
Her a screen of my "Miner-World" => Download (configs and bo2`s / 44kb)
Seed in server.config is again: tim1998+steps1956
config can be very easy adapted to personal preffered settings.
I`ve just changed the settings in my former world (Download some postings before) here:
1. DesertBiomeConfig.ini:
...
Ore(IRON_ORE,32,20,100,0,128,STONE,SAND)
Ore(GOLD_ORE,32,20,100,0,128,STONE,SAND)
...
Ore(DIAMOND_ORE,32,20,100,0,128,STONE,SAND)
...
Possibilitys not only for the ores are nearly unlimited ... ;-)

Posted Dec 14, 2011ressources are back, but i saw some errors, ill put that "Grass(DEAD_BUSH,0,1,100,SAND)" into plains and they spawn everywhere...
btw. dead bushes are spawning without the ressource specification in biomeconfig.
and i dont find any water_lily on my swamplands...
edit: Ok i got the waterlily after some tests.
edit2: OK the deadbush problem is gone too, it seems we need newly config files

Hi, could it be, that You didn`t start with a new world?
Reason to this ugly "cuts" in the map are:
If changing things in the biome and/or world configs and after that again using the/an existing world, this "cuts" often show up at points, where the new parts of the map are rendered.
(not existing before and now rendered with the changed settings in configs)
Can be fixed "manually" by using "in-game" tools like Voxel Sniper (which using "WorldEdit" in Background as far as I know)
