TerrainControl is an advanced world generator. Through various configuration files it gives the user control over almost every aspect of Minecraft terrain generation, with no knowledge of Java required. It can be used on Bukkit or Forge servers and on singleplayer with Forge. TerrainControl is the successor to the old PhoenixTerrainMod, which was based on the popular BiomeTerrainMod.

Metrics
As of Terrain Control 2.4.13, the plugin sends some stats to mcstats.org, a service by Hidendra and others. You can view the stats here. Terrain Control won't upload your configs, it will only send your BiomeMode along with some information of your computer. You can toggle it off by setting opt-out to true in the metrics config file. More information is available on this wiki page.

How to use

TerrainControl is more complex than most Bukkit plugins, so it may take a while to get into - but the results are worth it. If you want to create your own world, be sure to check our documentation. If you have done some reading and still have problems using TerrainControl, just post to our forums and we'll try to figure it out.

No, You can use SwampTree to make SwampTrees which are pretty much big trees with vines.

I'm pretty sure I was typing it correctly.
The update feature told me to put a new .jar into the main folder, which I did. Now I'm getting the message: "No source for TerrainControl.jar ask the Author to add it to dev.bukkit.org" I assume the plugin and my bukkit are out of synch?

i think he removed his comment. He was asking about generating biomes with things that have id's like wools 35:1 35:2 etc. So for example a biome with normal wool from bedrock to surface block and the surface block some sort of colored wool so 35:5 for example. And yea you dont have to worry im not some sort of time traveler i guess he removed his other comment :)

Hi,
/tc check <Your world name> [Enter]
should give You a "Done" as response.
(Tested and working for 2 minutes by myself at my own local server)
Did You type Your world name correct...?

Posted Feb 7, 2012I must ask. Is it possible to make it so that different Island biomes don't collide? This way, more advanced ocean type worlds could be made.

Hi,
is it possible that You changed some values and reloaded an old map?
The 2. image could show a situation like this ... or it´s only a rest of an old map in dynmap (or similar)?
Have You tried it again with a server copy / new world build up?
Do You have in the new "Test-Scenery" the same "cut.-half trees"?
(I assume, everybody uses more then one test-server like I do, to try out everything till it works, before using it in some "official" surroundings...)
I ´ve had this long time ago too, but always only when tried to use an "old" map ... with changes in settings ...

Posted Feb 7, 2012i have All my biomes lowered to about 34 (sea level)
so height doesnt seem to be the issue, even the highest only reach to about 110 !

If your tree is like 10 high then set the position where the tree can spawn in the bo2 lower.
like 10<>118 because you and a plugin can't place blocks higher then the sky.
The top is 128 so just 128-(tree height) for each tree and it should work fine.

Posted Feb 7, 2012Hey ive been Noticing this bug recently, with my BO2's / World Gen

They seem to be getting cut in Half on what i can only assume is chunks.
How ever i think, its only on items above a certain hight. As the trees below are intact.

Does You versions match up to each other?
(Seems like using wrong version TC with MC)...or old world with new singleplayerTC-Mod in MC
...and try without using this once:
