Telepads is a tool which you can use to set up simple teleportation systems within your multiplayer world. You may create 'pads' which are linked and can be stepped over for simple teleportation. This plugin supports multiworld due to the awesomeness of bukkit, and how easy the bukkit API makes this. All permissions within the plugin default to operator status if they have not been assigned, but the use permission, which sets to 'true' by default... meaning any player can use the pads. To setup a teleport pad, follow the below instructions:
- Stand on platform material (defined in config file)
- Type /createpad <name>, replacing <name> with the name of the teleport pad
- Create another pad at your destination
- Use /padlink <pad> <otherpad> to link the two pads, replacing <pad> and <otherpad> with the names of your pads.
It really is that easy! Telepads was designed with easy-to-use teleportation features in mind, so this is really what it was made for!

Permissions & commands
Commands
- /createpad <name> Creates a teleport pad with the specified name
- /padlink <pad1> <pad2> links two teleport pads together
- /padunlink <pad> Sets the destination of a pad to be nowhere
- /delpad <pad> deletes a teleport pad.
- /padlist Lists all the available teleport pads and links
Permissions
- telepads.create Defines if a player or group can create a telepad
- telepads.delete Defines if a player can delete a teleport pad
- telepads.use Configures if a player can use teleport pads by stepping on them
- telepads.link Defines if a player can link telepads
- telepads.list Defines if a player can summon the telepad list
- telepads.pads Allow the player to use all teleport pads
- telepads.pads.<name> Allow the player to use a specified teleport pad
Sample Configuration
Below is a sample configuration file for telepads. Stick this in your telepads configuration file (plugins/telepads/config.yml) and configure it as necessary. Note that the configuration file will also automatically generate the first time you use this plugin.

Sample Permissions
TelePads has a Permission system which allows different users different ways to interact with the pads. Due to the complexity of this, here's a simple guide to configuring permissions for use alongside TelePads.

This plugin uses the default bukkit permissions (SuperPerms). If you find only ops can do everything, then you are using an outdated permissions plugin. The plugin named 'Permissions' for example, is outdated. Post me a pm or comment if you have any issues.

Tpads with GUI ((spout?)opened teleport-points list) and teleporting to travelpads by name...
and... travelpad num limits by permissions...

Posted Feb 13, 2012Hi dear, i'm really getting crazy... I just want to let my friends who are not op use the portal
I read all comment and then, after a lot of try, all non-op are still not able to use the portals I download PEX e SuperPerm but i don't know how to use they for TelePads..
Can you make a tutorial, Finally?

Posted Feb 12, 2012Hey I'm new to hosting a server. I pay for a server that uses multicraft as a GUI for doing admin things. I installed the plugin in the correct folder and everything.
The issue I'm having is opening the config file. It's a .class, and it opens with notepad with a bunch of giberish symbols. Things I've tried (so please don't reconmmend them): -Getting the latest version of Java -downloading JAD -downloading JDK
To be fair I downloaded JAD and JDK, but have no idea how to get them to run. Again, I can open and read the .jar , but I cannot open the .class to change the config and actually get the plugin to start working.
Hopefully its something stupid I forgot, but if someone could help me out with this that would be great.

Posted Feb 10, 2012Hey i would just like to say nice plugin i use it on my server and love it.
Just one request:
When you teleport to another place make it that it wont teleport you in the time limit untill you get off the block then back on its really annoying it the teleports are far away and the chunks dont load fast so get off the teleporter and it takes you back.
So make it so it doesnt teleport you back and make it so you have to get off the bloack then back on.
If you do this i think everyone will; be happy

Also when i tried it i couldn't make a create a pad: it keep saying /createpad <name>

one request: with the /padlist command, could you please have it list what it is linked to. example: current output
suggested output
tut 3 is unlinked, tut1 goes to tut2 and tut2 goes to tut1
if a pad is linked to more than 1 destination, (as in your future plans), then list them as an array like

Posted Feb 5, 2012Sorry, just started reading all about permissions. so, ignore the message below. however, if anyone wants to send me what they believe the best (and easiest) way to manage permissions, I would appreciate it. I would like to have the ability to have all players use the telepads, without having to add them (if possible) and only have op players create, link, modify, etc..

But I want to have it so that, by default, ALL users can use telepads, without having to bump them to opp. I tried using the telepads.use but I have no idea where to put this file more explanation on how to set permissions would be lovely. But, in general, it would be great to have a way to allow everyone to USE, and only certain to CREATE. Thanks again

Oh, and as for your error there. just try and go into the server any way and start making teles. then make sure you save and shut it down and boot it up again. the error comes up cause there are no tele in your pad.yml

Posted Feb 4, 2012Just wanted to say this works awesome, got it setup with a room made just for spawn points like this. Awesome idea. Is it possible to hook into BOSEcon or something like that to add a cost to each tele you use for Reg users and not Admin users. perms for this kinda thing would be awesome to. Again awesom plugin. keep em coming.

Posted Feb 1, 2012how can i upgrade to this version, and keep the pads from previous version? (1.0.1 to 1.1r3) it just tells me it doesnt have any pads. i tried copying the sections from the config.yml into the proper pads.yml (created pad with new version first, to make sure of syntax) and still cant get old pad locations to work. then the pads.yml file becomes corrupted. i do not open or save this file with the server active. and properly stop the server before touching it. any ideas?

no telepad folder gets created in the plugins folder
and if i do /createpad spawn there stands /createpad <name>

Permissions is part of craftbukkit, everything defaults to op status.
