Telecarts
The only plugin (OK, not only) that lets you teleport with minecarts! This plugin was originally made for the not-yet-released Ender Worlds server.
CURRENT VERSION
TeleCarts 2.1.0
USAGE
To use the plugin you need to make a telecasts or worldcarts sign one block below the block a minecart track is on. TeleCarts is in the same world, Worldcarts is teleporting to a different world. If it is correct the first line will turn red and bold. The minecart needs to ride down the track in a minecart to be teleported, even if the minecart is empty or full it will work. WARNING: the cart preserves momentum, so make sure the tracks are on the same direction.
HOW TO MAKE A TELECARTS SIGN
- First line: [TeleCarts]
- Second line: (Destination X)
- Third line: (Destination Y)
- Fourth line: (Destination Z)
HOW TO MAKE A WORLDCARTS SIGN
- First line: [WorldCarts]
- Second line: (Destination X),(Destination Y),(Destination Z)
- Third line: (Destination World)
COMMANDS
None!
PERMS
- telecarts.use: allows you to use telecarts and worldcarts. Default everyone.
- telecarts.make: allows you to make telecart and worldcart signs. Default op.
VIDEOS
A bit outdated, you can now teleport empty carts and carts with other entities in them, starting in version 2.0.0 Also, in 2.1.0 you can teleport all the carts!

only thogeter with myworld plugin,
but i agree with your basic statement that there are some plugins arround that allow for cart teleportation.
however the traincart plugin dosent run with some off my other plugins thogheter..
having bytecart and craftbook installed, and if i put traincarts in, the carts go at incredible speed, that aint fun anymore, plus the traincarts way of teleporting dosent work with

witch i use to get a minecart to roll on quickly, while this plugin just works fine with all my installed plugins.
same issue by the way with other minecart teleportation plugins aswell. telecarts so far is the only one i found, that work with my setup. unfortunatly the autominecart developer has stopped work, as it seems, and i dont know heck about java..
going to ask the craftbook guys if they can extend there function they allready have for minecartsspawing to extend in that direction..
but anyway, pls add this functionallity ;)

the plugin works fine so far, but since i would like to use it for automated transport aswell, it should teleport any kind of minecart.. any chance to implement this?
and of course having a railway down to the nether /end would be fun too ;)

Posted Mar 25, 2014i wrote a plugin with same functionality,
it seems there is a bug in using minecarts.
If i place a minecart on destination and sets the player in the middle of the block (same with minecart) and then i ride with minecart around a left or right turn, i'm not in the middle of the minecart anymore.
If i leave the cart and then i go in, i'm not in minecart i'm on the "border" of the minecart.
now i changed the code:
Player leaves minecart minecart is teleported to destination player is teleported to destination player go into minecart, problem solved.
BUT minecart flys to destination and player too, so you can see all the landscape between orign and destination.

Posted Mar 10, 2014plugin is super and a really good idea but atm its just not working 100% when you teleport the minecart and your placement is slightly out and you can end up inside blocks
