Downloads
I'm too lazy to upload TARDIS files to Bukkit anymore, as builds are automatically created when the plugin is updated and changes pushed to GitHub.
Version specific downloads can be found here: https://tardis.pages.dev/download
Please make sure you are using the latest Spigot/Paper builds (for the Minecraft version you are running) before installing TARDIS or creating an issue!
What it does
TARDIS is a plugin that gives you the ability to create a Police Box that lets you time travel (teleport) to random locations. It adds a Whovian twist to the typical /sethome and /home commands.
As a player, you can:
- Create a TARDIS that is bigger on the inside.
- Time travel to a random location.
- Time travel back home (where you created the TARDIS initially).
- Save and list interesting time travel locations, so you can return to them easily.
- Take companions with you when you time travel.
- Make your TARDIS blend in with the Chameleon Circuit.
- Use your own schematic to build the TARDIS interior
- Grow new TARDIS rooms
- Use Artron Energy
- Remote control the TARDIS
- Custom TARDIS sounds with companion Resource Pack
- Custom TARDIS textures with companion Resource Pack

What's new?
Installation
As a minimum, just drop the TARDIS.jar, TARDISChunkGenerator.jar (look under Additional Files on the download page) and any optional plugins listed below into the Bukkit plugins folder and start your server. For more detailed instructions see: https://tardis.pages.dev/installation-v5
Optional installs
These are not needed for TARDIS to function, but enhance the plugin with extra features...
- Install the TARDIS-SoundResourcePack in the Minecraft client to hear custom TARDIS sounds
- Install the TARDIS-Resource-Pack to see aal the fancy textures and models (requires TARDIS v4.2 or higher).
- Install the TARDISChunkGenerator plugin so that you can generate TARDISes in their own self-contained world (included on the TARDIS plugin download page under Additional files).
- Install WorldGuard to automatically protect your TARDIS from griefing, and stop mobs spawning in TARDIS worlds.
- Install TARDISWeepingAngels to add some Whovian mobs to the game.
- Install a Permissions plugin, so that you can restrict or grant players the rights to use TARDIS’ different features. We like PermissionsBukkit.

Bugs / Requests
Please post a ticket for TARDIS plugin requests and bugs, thank you :)
WARNING: I am no longer prepared to waste my time looking at incomplete tickets. If your ticket does not follow the guidelines set out below, it will be deleted immediately!
Make sure you have read the FAQs first, as your question may already be answered there. Also make sure you have searched for a previous ticket with the same/similar issue (use the Filters to search closed tickets).
If you are going to create a BUG ticket you need to supply relevant information (as I'm not a mind reader, nor do I have access to your server...) - as a minimum you need:
- Exact CraftBukkit version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - Exact TARDIS version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - The server log showing the entire error (as a paste or at Pastebin - NOT a screenshot) - this should be the log from when the server starts up right through to when the error occurs
- If no error in the log, then a video of the bug happening or the EXACT steps needed to reproduce the issue.
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/config.yml file or other configuration file if relevant
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/TARDIS.db file if relevant
- List of other plugins on server
Stats
Basic statistics are collected for some versions of the TARDIS plugin (v2.5.8 and earlier). You can opt out at any time by setting opt-out: true in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml
External web access
Version 2.8 (and higher) of this plugin includes a translation feature (the /tardissay command) that connects to the Lingva translation service.
You can prevent players from using the command by removing / not giving them the permission tardis.translate

Brilliant, thanks. Will give it a try. I only come back to Minecraft once every now and then (I'm a video game addict, so I'm trying to limit the time I spend playing), and I always check out what's new with TARDIS. I'm loving your work - it's definitely the best plugin out there!

Posted May 22, 2015Hello! Loving the updates, by the way. I have things to report and one question:
When I change the desktop theme (love that function!), it uses wool in some places instead of clay, so it looks different from how it looks when I first grow a TARDIS with clay enabled.
Also, sometimes the doors from the console room are a bit broken. When it happens, the bottom part works fine but the top part doesn't move. I've noticed it with the bigger console room - namely the door on the same side as the TARDIS door on the right when facing the TARDIS door. This happens both when the TARDIS is newly grown and when changing the desktop theme. Same thing happened with the lower level doors of the deluxe console. I haven't tested all of them, so other ones might be buggy as well.
I'd also like to ask which version of MCEdit to use when creating custom schematics. I'd like to use the empty room as a template for my custom room, but MCEdit doesn't let me open any of the existing schematics. I've tried changing the filetype to .schematic, but it doesn't help, so I'm thinking I'm probably using a different version of MCEdit.

As stated on the Jenkins page TARDISHelper 1.6 is for CraftBukkit 1.8.4 - you are running 1.8.3 - downgrade...
NB in order to get Spigot 1.8.4 you need to pass the
rev 1.8.4argument in the BuildsTools launch script-

Posted May 21, 2015Ah, didn't see the room limit in the config.yml, not well named.
I am still having issues with TARDISHelper.jar though. I updated to the latest TARDIS, Latest SPIGOT and latest TARDISHelper. It fails to load:

Try setting the ars_limit to 2 (or try the latest Jenkins build?).

Posted May 20, 2015I just found an odd one from my users. TARDIS 3.2.11, latest Spigot git build as of 2015/05/15, I can't build an Antigravity/Gravity room. The output from the "build" through ARS reports i can only build one room at a time. As an OP I had the same result.

Edit: Nevermind I was just looking at the wrong command.

Yes first early builds of sponge are out. No doubt it will be a long time before its ready for a public server, also need to wait for worldguard, permission plugins etc to be updated.
I'm hoping that it will take over from bukkit/spiggot, would be good to run a forge/sponge server as there are great mods out there. I'd really like to include buildcraft on the server.

Posted May 8, 2015Perhaps you could make the materialization sequence smoother? Like speed up the transition between the glass colours a bit? If that's possible? It's not too big of an issue but it would look cooler and more like the ship is materializing. I love this plugin though it's so much fun just to fly around and find all these new places! Keep up the good work!

I've not being keeping up with Sponge development, so hadn't realised that you could now actually set up a Forge/Sponge server. Looks like I'll need to have a wee play... I would imagine that it will be some time before TARDIS will get to the same level on Sponge as it currently is on Bukkit.
I'd be interested to know whether people think Sponge is still the 'next big thing' now that Spigot/Bukkit seems to be ticking along quite nicely again.
I haven't had much spare time lately to do much in the way of anything Minecraft related, I don't think I've managed to log in to a server for some months... life has its own way of organising your priorities :) Maybe now that autumn/winter is has arrived in my part of the world, sitting in front of a computer and coding for hours might seem like a more inviting prospect, we'll see...

Probably doesn't work yet for sponge. Probably no new builds as there have been no confirmed bug reports or no suggestions for new features for some time. I guess the plug has reached perfection :)

And why there is no more builds for the plugin ?
