Downloads
I'm too lazy to upload TARDIS files to Bukkit anymore, as builds are automatically created when the plugin is updated and changes pushed to GitHub.
Version specific downloads can be found here: https://tardis.pages.dev/download
Please make sure you are using the latest Spigot/Paper builds (for the Minecraft version you are running) before installing TARDIS or creating an issue!
What it does
TARDIS is a plugin that gives you the ability to create a Police Box that lets you time travel (teleport) to random locations. It adds a Whovian twist to the typical /sethome and /home commands.
As a player, you can:
- Create a TARDIS that is bigger on the inside.
- Time travel to a random location.
- Time travel back home (where you created the TARDIS initially).
- Save and list interesting time travel locations, so you can return to them easily.
- Take companions with you when you time travel.
- Make your TARDIS blend in with the Chameleon Circuit.
- Use your own schematic to build the TARDIS interior
- Grow new TARDIS rooms
- Use Artron Energy
- Remote control the TARDIS
- Custom TARDIS sounds with companion Resource Pack
- Custom TARDIS textures with companion Resource Pack

Installation
As a minimum, just drop the TARDIS.jar, TARDISChunkGenerator.jar (look under Additional Files on the download page) and any optional plugins listed below into the Bukkit plugins folder and start your server. For more detailed instructions see: https://tardis.pages.dev/installation-v5
Optional installs
These are not needed for TARDIS to function, but enhance the plugin with extra features...
- Install the TARDIS-SoundResourcePack in the Minecraft client to hear custom TARDIS sounds
- Install the TARDIS-Resource-Pack to see aal the fancy textures and models (requires TARDIS v4.2 or higher).
- Install the TARDISChunkGenerator plugin so that you can generate TARDISes in their own self-contained world (included on the TARDIS plugin download page under Additional files).
- Install WorldGuard to automatically protect your TARDIS from griefing, and stop mobs spawning in TARDIS worlds.
- Install TARDISWeepingAngels to add some Whovian mobs to the game.
- Install a Permissions plugin, so that you can restrict or grant players the rights to use TARDIS’ different features. We like PermissionsBukkit.

Bugs / Requests
Please post a ticket for TARDIS plugin requests and bugs, thank you :)
WARNING: I am no longer prepared to waste my time looking at incomplete tickets. If your ticket does not follow the guidelines set out below, it will be deleted immediately!
Make sure you have read the FAQs first, as your question may already be answered there. Also make sure you have searched for a previous ticket with the same/similar issue (use the Filters to search closed tickets).
If you are going to create a BUG ticket you need to supply relevant information (as I'm not a mind reader, nor do I have access to your server...) - as a minimum you need:
- Exact CraftBukkit version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - Exact TARDIS version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - The server log showing the entire error (as a paste or at Pastebin - NOT a screenshot) - this should be the log from when the server starts up right through to when the error occurs
- If no error in the log, then a video of the bug happening or the EXACT steps needed to reproduce the issue.
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/config.yml file or other configuration file if relevant
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/TARDIS.db file if relevant
- List of other plugins on server
Stats
Basic statistics are collected for some versions of the TARDIS plugin (v2.5.8 and earlier). You can opt out at any time by setting opt-out: true in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml
External web access
Version 2.8 (and higher) of this plugin includes a translation feature (the /tardissay command) that connects to the Lingva translation service.
You can prevent players from using the command by removing / not giving them the permission tardis.translate

There's nothing wrong with the random button in my testing, you probably didn't update WorldGuard when upgrading the TARDIS plugin, and TARDIS is probably not enabled...
Siege mode ticket is here: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/tardis/tickets/878-siege-mode/

That fixed it! I rearranged a few things, but as it stands the schematic I linked to is in perfect working order now. You've been a big help. I've been out of the loop the past few months/year but now that I have a handle on the new stuff I'll be able to help my players, too. Got a friend coming to build a custom console this morning actually. lol
Hey could you do me a huge favor though? I posted in the plugin request forum about wanting a Vortex Manipulator, but I'm not sure if anyone who would be willing to work on it would even see it (my last request was ignored completely). If you don't have the time, perhaps you know other devs who might be able to pound out that rice cake. It would be a good addition to the Whoniverse side of Minecraft.

It's not the monster spawner acting up though, as that is correctly turned into the scanner button. Looks like the lower right monster egg block might have the wrong data value
EDIT: confirmed, the bottom right block should be a mossy cobblestone monster egg block - id 97, data 3

I don't know, it seems to be in the right spot, the other signs load up right, but that one just doesn't stick. The thing I did was just cut and paste those blocks in the spot I wanted them. This is why I'm confused as to how one side, all three blocks transmute to the sign/button form, yet on the other side, only the top two do so...

Possibly because it is facing the wrong way, or in a location where the block the sign is attached to is placed after the sign, so the sign initially has nothing to stick to. I'll check out the new schematic after work.

Thanks, got it all working, and I have a finished version at that same link below if you wish to check it out. Only thing, the monster spawner sign doesn't load properly. How can I fix this?

Unless you are using build #1062 or higher, then read this: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/tardis/tickets/903-feature-suggestion-multiple-custom-tardis-interior/

Nope.
Not seeing any issues here:
Apart from some missing blocks by the door.

Yes, I added the door and it still did not work. Do I need it on a specific block?

Here ya go, links to my dropbox.
EDIT: I realized for some reason the door wasn't there, trying again.
EDIT2: Okay so now because I can't enter my TARDIS I can't delete it, either. I can break the sign, but after /tardis exterminate this message comes up: "An internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command".
EDIT3: Got it back the right way, but still can't build with custom.

It is a bad idea, but having it randomly happen with a small chance would be a fun extra (you know, if two tardis' are travelling at the same time they have a chance to land in each other sort of thing)
@eccentricnz
BUT I came here to ask a question: I followed the instructions on the page (here) and built my custom console. Everything is in place. I loaded "bigger" TARDIS and edited it to my needs. Then I saved it (calling it "biggerbaker"), deleted my old tardis, built a new one with the obsidian block (and it's enabled in config) but I cannot enter the newly made TARDIS console room..
Am I missing something?

Obviously you are a Dr 4 fan, you should know landing a Tardis inside another Tardis is a bad idea. Might be time to watch Logopolis again.

Re. landing in another or your own TARDIS - this has been deliberately disabled from early on in the plugins life and will never be enabled.

Would be so awsome, maybe make the render room change rapidly, sorta malfunctioning?

My players just like the idea when I pitched it, they felt it would be a much better thing to have and could get rid of their exterior rendering room. I personally feel the render room is good, but inefficient.
Could you perhaps put it on a "to-do when I'm bored" list?
Edit, without posting a new thing: I can't seem to land my TARDIS inside itself. I have the option set to true in the worlds section of config. This would be a neat feature if TARDIS owners could "hone in" on another TARDIS much like we saw with the Third Doctor when he and the Master were going at it. They each landed their Time Capsule inside the other's console room, so leaving your TARDIS you enter a point in their console room, and leaving out their door brings you back to your console room. Can this be done? (It was The Time Monster if you wanted to see it, but I have a clip I was able to find: 3rd Doctor vs 1st Master )
