Downloads
I'm too lazy to upload TARDIS files to Bukkit anymore, as builds are automatically created when the plugin is updated and changes pushed to GitHub.
Version specific downloads can be found here: https://tardis.pages.dev/download
Please make sure you are using the latest Spigot/Paper builds (for the Minecraft version you are running) before installing TARDIS or creating an issue!
What it does
TARDIS is a plugin that gives you the ability to create a Police Box that lets you time travel (teleport) to random locations. It adds a Whovian twist to the typical /sethome and /home commands.
As a player, you can:
- Create a TARDIS that is bigger on the inside.
- Time travel to a random location.
- Time travel back home (where you created the TARDIS initially).
- Save and list interesting time travel locations, so you can return to them easily.
- Take companions with you when you time travel.
- Make your TARDIS blend in with the Chameleon Circuit.
- Use your own schematic to build the TARDIS interior
- Grow new TARDIS rooms
- Use Artron Energy
- Remote control the TARDIS
- Custom TARDIS sounds with companion Resource Pack
- Custom TARDIS textures with companion Resource Pack

What's new?
Installation
As a minimum, just drop the TARDIS.jar, TARDISChunkGenerator.jar (look under Additional Files on the download page) and any optional plugins listed below into the Bukkit plugins folder and start your server. For more detailed instructions see: https://tardis.pages.dev/installation-v5
Optional installs
These are not needed for TARDIS to function, but enhance the plugin with extra features...
- Install the TARDIS-SoundResourcePack in the Minecraft client to hear custom TARDIS sounds
- Install the TARDIS-Resource-Pack to see aal the fancy textures and models (requires TARDIS v4.2 or higher).
- Install the TARDISChunkGenerator plugin so that you can generate TARDISes in their own self-contained world (included on the TARDIS plugin download page under Additional files).
- Install WorldGuard to automatically protect your TARDIS from griefing, and stop mobs spawning in TARDIS worlds.
- Install TARDISWeepingAngels to add some Whovian mobs to the game.
- Install a Permissions plugin, so that you can restrict or grant players the rights to use TARDIS’ different features. We like PermissionsBukkit.

Bugs / Requests
Please post a ticket for TARDIS plugin requests and bugs, thank you :)
WARNING: I am no longer prepared to waste my time looking at incomplete tickets. If your ticket does not follow the guidelines set out below, it will be deleted immediately!
Make sure you have read the FAQs first, as your question may already be answered there. Also make sure you have searched for a previous ticket with the same/similar issue (use the Filters to search closed tickets).
If you are going to create a BUG ticket you need to supply relevant information (as I'm not a mind reader, nor do I have access to your server...) - as a minimum you need:
- Exact CraftBukkit version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - Exact TARDIS version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - The server log showing the entire error (as a paste or at Pastebin - NOT a screenshot) - this should be the log from when the server starts up right through to when the error occurs
- If no error in the log, then a video of the bug happening or the EXACT steps needed to reproduce the issue.
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/config.yml file or other configuration file if relevant
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/TARDIS.db file if relevant
- List of other plugins on server
Stats
Basic statistics are collected for some versions of the TARDIS plugin (v2.5.8 and earlier). You can opt out at any time by setting opt-out: true in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml
External web access
Version 2.8 (and higher) of this plugin includes a translation feature (the /tardissay command) that connects to the Lingva translation service.
You can prevent players from using the command by removing / not giving them the permission tardis.translate

I've asked this before a while back, but is it possible to implement something like this into TARDIS? It's simply creating a "camera" block, then a "viewer" block, then a command linking the two.
Every time the TARDIS lands, it would have to re-set the camera block (to the light on top of the police box, or whichever other would be appropriate for other chameleon modes). It would also have to re-link the blocks. The viewer block would be in the TARDIS itself so wouldn't have to be re-set like the camera.
That plugin is not updated, and people are saying it doesn't work on 1.7.10. This is why I am here asking if you might have something like this planned for the future?

Not moving to Forge at this stage, and probably never will in the way that you are imagining - here's the scenario:

Posted Nov 16, 2014I'm a huge fan of this mod/plug in... I've been trying to follow this thread for any updates. I'm a bit lost though. Is it confirmed that this mod/plugin is moving to forge?... and if so is it being worked on now?

Apparently I'm NOT using R0.2 of Bukkit or Spigot, as it's impossible to find them. I am now at a loss completely. I thought it was the one I did have, but looking at my logs I'm finding out it isn't. Is there anywhere to download a compatible version of Spigot (since Bukkit won't let anyone d/l)?
EDIT: I found spigot, it wasn't hard via google, but impossible to find on their site for some reason. lol
EDIT 2: Oh no wait, it was just Bukkit, not Spigot or CraftBukkit, so it won't load. Once again at a loss.
EDIT 3: Did searching for it, hoping someone had a backup they forgot about somewhere, and nope. No one. I guess I'll have to wait for official release.
EDIT 4: Last edit, I promise! I found a rouge website that had it available, but I don't know how well it will work until I try! Any issues I run into, I'll post as a ticket! *crosses fingers* I hope this works!

Not absolutely required, but you'll probably want them:

Everything on my test server was downloaded directly from the plugins pages here on Bukkit.org in the past week, and I have made sure they are all 1.7.9-R0.2 compatible. I'll update you once I have a new test server running. (I work nights, but I do have time to work on it while here). Thanks, and if any errors come up after a new server setup, I'll pastebin them to you!
If you don't mind, can I get a list, directly from you as a reply, as to which plugins I absolutely need to do a multiverse style server with TARDIS, that way I can set it up properly without any hitches? I'm pretty sure I have everything, but tripple checking never hurt anyone. ;)

It's obvious I'm going to have to isolate this to get it working before I put all these other plugins in. I was trying to stabilize an economy with Jobs and Towny first, but I seem to be having difficulties galore.
Also, no matter what I type, false recipe or real, it tells me "An internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command."
Like I said I'm going to isolate the plugins and get it working, THEN implement my economy and Towny. I love this plugin so I want it to work so badly.

See, TardisRecipe didn't pull that up, it was a plain grey list...not colorful like the picture you posted (which is what I remember it looking like).

Setting up the plugin is basically the same as in the video, I doubt that is your problem.
The TARDIS map files need to moved to the correct location only once, see: http://eccentricdevotion.github.io/TARDIS/faqs.html#maps
Stattenheim Remote is in
/tardisrecipe listand the TARDIS Info System:-

Will this be a continuous thing I'll have to do? I can't have a server like that, so I'm supposing it's a temporary fix? Also, create worlds was true, and there is no map.dat file in TARDIS folder.

Check the config and make sure create_worlds is set to true, also copy all the map.dat files from the TARDIS plugin folder to the default world's data folder

Posted Nov 15, 2014Started a new server for testing (getting ready for 1.8) and for some reason I cannot get a TARDIS to be created. I make the seed, place it down, use a gold nugget on it (I can't craft a key) and it says "importing world" but the TARDIS doesn't materialize. When I try to /mv tp self tardis it brings me to where the TARDIS was "made" in the same normal world.
This isn't a permissions issue, it's a TARDIS issue. I have all perms set up right, I can make a seed block. However, I cannot craft a key, nor do I see the statenheim remote in the /tardisrecipe list. I'm guessing a few changes were made in the past year, but the fact that it didn't work (I'm using multiverse and the old "settings" video you made doesn't go over everything but a few things, which aren't well explained).
The settings are not commented at all, and it's frustrating because it's "kind of" working.
I don't want to file a bug because IDK if it's set up like it should be. Apparently many things have changed over time, but I figured it would be easier, not harder, to get working.

Check the version of WorldGuard you are running 3.1 requires WG6, prior versions use WG5.9 - please read the change log before updating for breaking changes.
We also can't really help you unless you submit a proper ticket with the required information - read this: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/tardis/#w-bugs-requests especially step 3
