Downloads
I'm too lazy to upload TARDIS files to Bukkit anymore, as builds are automatically created when the plugin is updated and changes pushed to GitHub.
Version specific downloads can be found here: https://tardis.pages.dev/download
Please make sure you are using the latest Spigot/Paper builds (for the Minecraft version you are running) before installing TARDIS or creating an issue!
What it does
TARDIS is a plugin that gives you the ability to create a Police Box that lets you time travel (teleport) to random locations. It adds a Whovian twist to the typical /sethome and /home commands.
As a player, you can:
- Create a TARDIS that is bigger on the inside.
- Time travel to a random location.
- Time travel back home (where you created the TARDIS initially).
- Save and list interesting time travel locations, so you can return to them easily.
- Take companions with you when you time travel.
- Make your TARDIS blend in with the Chameleon Circuit.
- Use your own schematic to build the TARDIS interior
- Grow new TARDIS rooms
- Use Artron Energy
- Remote control the TARDIS
- Custom TARDIS sounds with companion Resource Pack
- Custom TARDIS textures with companion Resource Pack

What's new?
Installation
As a minimum, just drop the TARDIS.jar, TARDISChunkGenerator.jar (look under Additional Files on the download page) and any optional plugins listed below into the Bukkit plugins folder and start your server. For more detailed instructions see: https://tardis.pages.dev/installation-v5
Optional installs
These are not needed for TARDIS to function, but enhance the plugin with extra features...
- Install the TARDIS-SoundResourcePack in the Minecraft client to hear custom TARDIS sounds
- Install the TARDIS-Resource-Pack to see aal the fancy textures and models (requires TARDIS v4.2 or higher).
- Install the TARDISChunkGenerator plugin so that you can generate TARDISes in their own self-contained world (included on the TARDIS plugin download page under Additional files).
- Install WorldGuard to automatically protect your TARDIS from griefing, and stop mobs spawning in TARDIS worlds.
- Install TARDISWeepingAngels to add some Whovian mobs to the game.
- Install a Permissions plugin, so that you can restrict or grant players the rights to use TARDIS’ different features. We like PermissionsBukkit.

Bugs / Requests
Please post a ticket for TARDIS plugin requests and bugs, thank you :)
WARNING: I am no longer prepared to waste my time looking at incomplete tickets. If your ticket does not follow the guidelines set out below, it will be deleted immediately!
Make sure you have read the FAQs first, as your question may already be answered there. Also make sure you have searched for a previous ticket with the same/similar issue (use the Filters to search closed tickets).
If you are going to create a BUG ticket you need to supply relevant information (as I'm not a mind reader, nor do I have access to your server...) - as a minimum you need:
- Exact CraftBukkit version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - Exact TARDIS version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - The server log showing the entire error (as a paste or at Pastebin - NOT a screenshot) - this should be the log from when the server starts up right through to when the error occurs
- If no error in the log, then a video of the bug happening or the EXACT steps needed to reproduce the issue.
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/config.yml file or other configuration file if relevant
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/TARDIS.db file if relevant
- List of other plugins on server
Stats
Basic statistics are collected for some versions of the TARDIS plugin (v2.5.8 and earlier). You can opt out at any time by setting opt-out: true in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml
External web access
Version 2.8 (and higher) of this plugin includes a translation feature (the /tardissay command) that connects to the Lingva translation service.
You can prevent players from using the command by removing / not giving them the permission tardis.translate

It's specifically for the two black wool blocks behind the interior TARDIS door. I have a little space scene "outside" my TARDIS and eccentricnz was kind enough to add that toggle switch. The new exit portal we have would otherwise block my ability to access my space scene. I keep meaning to post a screenshot.

No, will not be adding custom ones, what you see is what you get. No pen or lipstick either, neither are items that time lords have, they're not screwdrivers, and I've spent enough time on making custom textures already.

The
/tardis homecommand now uses the player's direction like the comehere commandBuild #796 (might also fix the broken hide command)

1) thanks for thinking that 2) how the exterior uses a different door and a different blue wool, make it interior as well 3) i mean like a GUI in the GUI to pick that the Mark I is now the Sonic Pen, the Sonic Lipstick or the Laser Screwdriver
and also, when i said rename, i meant the lore renamed to say the new item name. please add in a custom texture for the 1st one!

I don't think there's a command to change that right now? I'll give you a safe option and a totally-experimental-I-have-no-idea-what-will-happen-so-back-up-everything-first-option.
Safe option
Just make a new save and use that instead.
The other option with the big long name that I know you'll try because you want to break things :)
In the TARDIS database there's a table called homes, which contains coordinates and directions for each TARDIS on the server. I'm making an educated guess here that this is what you want to change, but I could be wrong and this won't affect anything. Stop your server, change the direction value in there (match the formatting, all caps), restart your server and try it out.
If your server is hosted on Linux you can download SQLite Database Browser (what I use). You'll have to google for a Windows version.

This is a weird request because 9/10/11 all used different sonic screwdrivers that were supposed to look the same. They were actually made by two different prop companies. The 9th Doctor's screwdriver actually had to be pulled open rather than pushed. The only purposeful color difference was the 10/11th doctor's screwdriver. The 11th doctor's was a little bit more on the blue side before it exploded and he got a completely new screwdriver. (I enjoy dabbling with props now and again. CT)

Posted May 4, 2014Question;
Is there a way to set the direction of the TARDIS's home after the first home was set.
For example;
When I first made the TARDIS it was made facing south. I have since redid the home recharger area and now I need the TARDIS to face north when it lands.
When I set a new home (no matter what way I face), the TARDIS still faces south. It does not matter if the TARDIS is also facing north when setting home either.
I wasn't sure if there was a command such as /Tardis Home North or something of the like
(OBTW still slaving away on the TARDIS PDF manual. When I am not breaking the server)

I did. They are now being sucked into the TARDIS in a very Gallifreyian manner. Now I am off to see what else I can break!

Posted May 4, 2014three things 1) fixed it by 1. deleting the plugin folder 2. running the server 3. puting in all plugins exept for the three tardis plugins (2.9 and the two 2.8 files that go with it) 4. running the server 5. puting in the tardis items 6 runing it again
2) could you please make it so that the TARDIS_World_Player has the doorway look like the outside? make it the sky biome and all that?
3) could you have some custom naming and texturing for the final sonic item in the sonic GUI?
