Downloads
I'm too lazy to upload TARDIS files to Bukkit anymore, as builds are automatically created when the plugin is updated and changes pushed to GitHub.
Version specific downloads can be found here: https://tardis.pages.dev/download
Please make sure you are using the latest Spigot/Paper builds (for the Minecraft version you are running) before installing TARDIS or creating an issue!
What it does
TARDIS is a plugin that gives you the ability to create a Police Box that lets you time travel (teleport) to random locations. It adds a Whovian twist to the typical /sethome and /home commands.
As a player, you can:
- Create a TARDIS that is bigger on the inside.
- Time travel to a random location.
- Time travel back home (where you created the TARDIS initially).
- Save and list interesting time travel locations, so you can return to them easily.
- Take companions with you when you time travel.
- Make your TARDIS blend in with the Chameleon Circuit.
- Use your own schematic to build the TARDIS interior
- Grow new TARDIS rooms
- Use Artron Energy
- Remote control the TARDIS
- Custom TARDIS sounds with companion Resource Pack
- Custom TARDIS textures with companion Resource Pack

What's new?
Installation
As a minimum, just drop the TARDIS.jar, TARDISChunkGenerator.jar (look under Additional Files on the download page) and any optional plugins listed below into the Bukkit plugins folder and start your server. For more detailed instructions see: https://tardis.pages.dev/installation-v5
Optional installs
These are not needed for TARDIS to function, but enhance the plugin with extra features...
- Install the TARDIS-SoundResourcePack in the Minecraft client to hear custom TARDIS sounds
- Install the TARDIS-Resource-Pack to see aal the fancy textures and models (requires TARDIS v4.2 or higher).
- Install the TARDISChunkGenerator plugin so that you can generate TARDISes in their own self-contained world (included on the TARDIS plugin download page under Additional files).
- Install WorldGuard to automatically protect your TARDIS from griefing, and stop mobs spawning in TARDIS worlds.
- Install TARDISWeepingAngels to add some Whovian mobs to the game.
- Install a Permissions plugin, so that you can restrict or grant players the rights to use TARDIS’ different features. We like PermissionsBukkit.

Bugs / Requests
Please post a ticket for TARDIS plugin requests and bugs, thank you :)
WARNING: I am no longer prepared to waste my time looking at incomplete tickets. If your ticket does not follow the guidelines set out below, it will be deleted immediately!
Make sure you have read the FAQs first, as your question may already be answered there. Also make sure you have searched for a previous ticket with the same/similar issue (use the Filters to search closed tickets).
If you are going to create a BUG ticket you need to supply relevant information (as I'm not a mind reader, nor do I have access to your server...) - as a minimum you need:
- Exact CraftBukkit version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - Exact TARDIS version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - The server log showing the entire error (as a paste or at Pastebin - NOT a screenshot) - this should be the log from when the server starts up right through to when the error occurs
- If no error in the log, then a video of the bug happening or the EXACT steps needed to reproduce the issue.
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/config.yml file or other configuration file if relevant
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/TARDIS.db file if relevant
- List of other plugins on server
Stats
Basic statistics are collected for some versions of the TARDIS plugin (v2.5.8 and earlier). You can opt out at any time by setting opt-out: true in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml
External web access
Version 2.8 (and higher) of this plugin includes a translation feature (the /tardissay command) that connects to the Lingva translation service.
You can prevent players from using the command by removing / not giving them the permission tardis.translate

Not practical for my purpose unfortunately, it's an extremely large area and I want to let them pilot their TARDISes to specific locations within.

Setup a TARDIS area in the region

Posted Mar 26, 2014Anyone know if there's a way to create a WorldGuard region that players can't build in, but can fly their TARDIS to? As far as I can tell TARDIS landing permissions are tied only to whether or not you can build in the region.

Not everything is documented yet, you need to keep up with the changelog and discussion here about various features. If every detail was fully documented as it was created then there would be a lot less features. More documentation = less development of the plugin.

The back door is (IMO) for cheaters... it allows you to place 2 static doors - one inside and one outside, that give you access to the TARDIS interior no matter where the exterior is located, so you could for example have a door in your house that lets you enter the TARDIS, or the reverse - a door in the TARDIS that is permanently linked to one location.
/tardis update backdoorcommand on each door-

Posted Mar 26, 2014This is a great plugin! But I'm confused on one thing... Whats a backdoor? There is not a page for it in the A-Z site map, so I don't know what to do. You may want to make something for that. Other than that, great plugin!

They either need to update the plugin and start using TIPS (requires a TARDIS_TimeVortex world reset), or if they have upgraded already they'll need to reset the TARDIS_TimeVortex world, either way... reset and in the future, read the change logs...

Posted Mar 25, 2014On the server MinecraftInferno.com when you create a tardis it sometimes overlaps other TARDISes and will not let you inside and if you create a new one it will still be overlapped help

You'll need to make a ticket with more info, perhaps with a link to a video. Attach config files that may be relevant e.g. recipes.yml (if you've changed it)

Sort of, except it also doesn't let me put the disk into the Disk Storage at first, once i eventually get it in, i cannot take it back out at all and unlike that Ticket, I hadn't restarted my Server.

That's how the Bukkit methods work, it only changes the player's "view" of time - server time (in charge of controlling when mobs can spawn) continues on its merry way unaffected by the desires of us pretend Time Lords :)

Posted Mar 24, 2014I'm pretty sure I tried clicking in the output window before. Nevermind, it works now. It's a pretty neat system, btw. I love the new chameleon circuit disguises. Mossy well is probably my favourite, but the water closet is very hard to beat, too. The other thing I noticed is that the temporal circuit only changes how time appears, but it doesn't actually change the time. It's all nice and sunny out there, but monsters still spawn. Is this intentional? Many thanks!

Related to this? http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/tardis/tickets/664-disk-storage-doesnt-allow-taking-disks-out-of-it/
@BarzhDu
EDIT: Are you running CraftBukkit 1.7.5 by any chance? I've seen some odd things in the server log to do with biome disks...
You need to click in the output slot to generate the disk (as technically speaking the biome disks aren't actually crafting recipes), I'll look at seeing if I can get the disk to appear in the output without clicking after work today (as I did for the TARDIS seed blocks)
The Emerald Sonic has been annoying me too, so will take care of that as well :)

Posted Mar 24, 2014Hi, I'm back! Is it normal that I can't seem to be able to craft any biome storage disks? I have a blank biome storage disk, I tried combining it with several different items from the list, but nothing. Also, how about disabling the sonic environmental scan when right-clicking something that can be right-clicked on its own (i.e. chests, crafting tables, etc.) It's getting a bit too much at times. Kudos for all the updates! I'm loving the ARS & the piston doors.

Posted Mar 23, 2014I've done something really stupid. Through an accident, I managed to kill myself in my zero room. I have been unable to find a way to 'un-occupy' the zero room. oops. I'm remarkably limited in what I can do, because it still thinks I am inside the zero room.
UPDATE - I bounced my server...I think that's fixed me dilemma!
