I'm too lazy to upload TARDIS files to Bukkit anymore, as builds are automatically created when the plugin is updated and changes pushed to GitHub.

Please make sure you are using the latest Spigot/Paper builds (for the Minecraft version you are running) before installing TARDIS or creating an issue!
What it does
TARDIS is a plugin that gives you the ability to create a Police Box that lets you time travel (teleport) to random locations. It adds a Whovian twist to the typical /sethome and /home commands.
As a player, you can:
- Create a TARDIS that is bigger on the inside.
- Time travel to a random location.
- Time travel back home (where you created the TARDIS initially).
- Save and list interesting time travel locations, so you can return to them easily.
- Take companions with you when you time travel.
- Make your TARDIS blend in with the Chameleon Circuit.
- Use your own schematic to build the TARDIS interior
- Grow new TARDIS rooms
- Use Artron Energy
- Remote control the TARDIS
- Custom TARDIS sounds with companion Resource Pack
- Custom TARDIS textures with companion Resource Pack

Installation
As a minimum, just drop the TARDIS.jar, TARDISChunkGenerator.jar (look under Additional Files on the download page) and any optional plugins listed below into the Bukkit plugins folder and start your server. For more detailed instructions see: https://tardis.pages.dev/installation-v5
Optional installs
These are not needed for TARDIS to function, but enhance the plugin with extra features...
- Install the TARDIS-SoundResourcePack in the Minecraft client to hear custom TARDIS sounds
- Install the TARDIS-Resource-Pack to see aal the fancy textures and models (requires TARDIS v4.2 or higher).
- Install the TARDISChunkGenerator plugin so that you can generate TARDISes in their own self-contained world (included on the TARDIS plugin download page under Additional files).
- Install WorldGuard to automatically protect your TARDIS from griefing, and stop mobs spawning in TARDIS worlds.
- Install TARDISWeepingAngels to add some Whovian mobs to the game.
- Install a Permissions plugin, so that you can restrict or grant players the rights to use TARDIS’ different features. We like PermissionsBukkit.

Please post a ticket for TARDIS plugin requests and bugs, thank you :)
WARNING: I am no longer prepared to waste my time looking at incomplete tickets. If your ticket does not follow the guidelines set out below, it will be deleted immediately!
Make sure you have read the FAQs first, as your question may already be answered there. Also make sure you have searched for a previous ticket with the same/similar issue (use the Filters to search closed tickets).
If you are going to create a BUG ticket you need to supply relevant information (as I'm not a mind reader, nor do I have access to your server...) - as a minimum you need:
- Exact CraftBukkit version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - Exact TARDIS version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the

- If no error in the log, then a video of the bug happening or the EXACT steps needed to reproduce the issue.
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/config.yml file or other configuration file if relevant
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/TARDIS.db file if relevant
- List of other plugins on server
Stats
Basic statistics are collected for some versions of the TARDIS plugin (v2.5.8 and earlier). You can opt out at any time by setting opt-out: true in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml
External web access
Version 2.8 (and higher) of this plugin includes a translation feature (the /tardissay command) that connects to the Lingva translation service.
You can prevent players from using the command by removing / not giving them the permission tardis.translate

Posted Jul 16, 2013Is anyone having problems crafting the TARDIS Locator? I've crafted the l-circuit and the remote just fine. But when I try to craft the locator using the recipe given it does not show an item to retrieve to complete the recipe. Hope that makes sense.

The newer version of MultiverseCore solved my breeding problems. Tried your solution for horses, but still no luck. Tried regrowing the stable several times, updating the spawn location, etc., but nothing. Removing the walls didn't help either. I never hear any dying horse sounds, so I'm not sure about that. I have noticed that when there is a horse next to the Tardis and I enter, just before I appear inside, two things happen: 1) horse disappears - normal. 2) something appears behind the Tardis door, only visible for a split second before I appear inside, so I don't know what it is. Maybe relevant, maybe not.
Maybe something wrong with my Tardis? I grew it in 2.4, I think.
A question: what is supposed to happen to the lead when a horse is transported into the Tardis. Just wondering.
Also, the multiple animals bug: I'm pretty sure I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary, so I would be quite interested in knowing what caused it ;)

Oh! alright! so its similar to named containers or command blocks? but instead of just storing names, it stores lore. but when you break a named block, you get a regular block back! i get it. thanks for clarifying.

If farm mobs aren't breeding, it's probably because you are using Multiverse-Core 2.4, update to 2.5 (I use build #667) - http://ci.onarandombox.com/view/Multiverse/job/Multiverse-Core/

Loaded up your server, created a TARDIS, grew a STABLE room, spawned in some horses next to the TARDIS, entered the TARDIS:
What I think is happening, is that the horses are spawning inside a block and dying before you get to them, you might notice in the picture that I have broken the stable walls.
Can you try the latest Jenkins build (#255 at the time of writing) as it has an updated Stable room (jettison the existing room, stop server, delete the old stable.schematic and .csv, start server, and grow a new room) and an altered spawn location, and also has a
/tardis update stablecommand to set the block the horses spawn on (if you want to make your own stables room).@Sashaangel

whoops. i lied. there's another thing :P how are you going to keep track of meta-data on a placed block? obviously if the floor, wall, type, etc, are modular, some sort of meta data has to be stored on the seed block.

sounds neat. still confused on how this will all work, but you've never failed me before! Honestly, at this point, the plugin could rival Doctor Who Client Mod (especially considering they've been working on it since 1.8 beta -_-). will the system change for chameleon circuits with the new 'police box block' system?

ARS is a HUGE change (it's really a whole plugin by itself) and it is going to take some time to get it working, it may or may not make it into the final 2.5 release... It will also NOT be compatible with existing TARDISes. I'm currently reworking all the rooms to make them compatible, plus there will probably be a special ARS only TARDIS.

The next version is going to change the way that you create TARDISes, there will no longer be a 3-block stack, instead you will craft a custom seed block, the base recipes will be configurable, and players will be able to set the TARDIS wall, floor, police box wall, lamp, and sign preferences in the recipe, then you'll just place one block to build the TARDIS.

The rail does work, but the minecart will not return outside the TARDIS by itself, you need to enter the TARDIS first to trigger its movement again

Technically, you don't actually need the map files to craft the recipes, they will still work with blank maps... Have fixed the Locator recipe it was using the wrong circuit, currently it will build with the Stattenheim circuit - I mixed up the numbers in my code :(
