TabManager
What is TabManager?
TabManager is just a simple and lightweight plugin that u may control your playerlist [TAB], it's easy to use because it works with permissions and it doesn't need any other chat plugins. I made this plugin with the reason that i could not found a updated or permissions only version.
Features
Features:
- Color your players on the playerlist [TAB]
- Change your name in a special name because it can do almost every chatcode! (Ex: Bold, italic, random and more..)
Commands
Commands (@ = Protected with permissions):
- /TabManager - Shows up the main menu
- /TabManager colorlist - Shows up the list with available colors and the permissions from it. @
- /TabManager speciallist - Shows up the list with available specials and the permissions from it. @
- /TabManager version - Shows up the current version of the plugin.
U can also use /Tm instance of /TabManager.
Permissions
Commands:
- TabManager.ColorList - Makes u able to type /TabManager colorlist
- TabManager.SpecialList - Makes u able to type /TabManager speciallist
Colors:
- TabManager.Black - Will change your username into black.
- TabManager.DarkBlue - Will change your username into dark blue.
- TabManager.DarkGreen - Will change your username into dark green.
- TabManager.DarkAqua - Will change your username into dark aqua.
- TabManager.DarkRed - Will change your username into dark red.
- TabManager.DarkPurple - Will change your username into dark purple.
- TabManager.Orange - Will change your username into orange.
- TabManager.Grey - Will change your username into grey.
- TabManager.Darkgrey - Will change your username into dark grey.
- TabManager.Indigo - Will change your username into indigo.
- TabManager.BrightGreen - Will change your username into bright green.
- TabManager.Aqua - Will change your username into aqua.
- TabManager.Red - Will change your username into red.
- TabManager.Pink - Will change your username into pink.
- TabManager.Yellow - Will change your username into yellow.
Specials:
- TabManager.Random - Will change your username in random letter.
- TabManager.Bold - Will change your username into bold front.
- TabManager.Strike - Will change your username with a line in it.
- TabManager.Underline - Will change your username with a line under it.
- TabManager.Italic - Will change your username with the italic font.
- TabManager.Reset - Will change your username to nothing (Kinda useless).
Must know
Mostly admins and owner have the * permission, remember if you have that the TabManager will give u ALL permissions for the colors and special so u name will do crazy, i highly recommend to remove all TabManager permissions if you have * and add them manually because every color will be set to you and that will conflict. You also need to know that your changes only have effect on connect to reduce lagg.

No, you can do it like this; - -TabManager.Italic
It reverts a command, which you don't have access, meaning your name won't be italic in tab-list.

Im pretty sure because they are OP ( have all the coding permissions) that there will be no way to fix it other than de-opping them and giving them the necessary permissions instead.

Posted Mar 9, 2013I use this plugin and give the color permissions to groups using groupmanager. And the entire group doesnt get the name change. Ive made then relog and it doesnt change their names. Im not sure if its something im doing or they are doing or... anything else...
EditSo i see that a name can only be 16 letters long, is there a way to change this?Its also looking like there is a problem with yellow.

Posted Feb 20, 2013OP will also have the crazy letters, with no * attached to them. Also, when it comes to inheriting permissions, giving each rank different colors doesn't work.

To give colors works with permission, not with commands. You need to give yourself the permission: TabManager.Black etc.
