SwearJar
SwearJar is a simple anti-swear plugin with a difference.Instead of simply blocking user from swearing, SwearJar uses a traditional approach and makes you pay a configured amount for saying a swear word. When a user swears they are informed about it and the money taked from there account or if they cant afford to pay, they will not be able to say the sentence with the swear in it.They will be informed of this too.

Commands
- /sj - shows SwearJar help.
- /sj add [String] - adds the word to the swear list.
- /sj remove [String] - removes the word from the swear list.
- /sj exempt [String] - adds a word to the exemption list.
- /sj rexempt [String] - removes a word from the exemption list.
- /sj list - shows the swear list.
- /sj elist - shows the exception list.
- /sj balance - shows the current balance of the swearjar.

Example usage
- /sj add swearword - adds "swearword" to the swear list.

Posted Jul 13, 2014cool plug, but kind of a bummer that it thinks other words are swears like "of a game" is fag ? i get it, trying to prevent people from spacing things out, but... kinda makes it not work right over long periods of time.

Posted Jul 5, 2014Will this work using CB 1.7.2-R0.3? If so, which version of SwearJar would I need? I see SwearJar-V1.6 for CB 1.7.2-R0.2 and SwearJar-V1.7 for CB 1.7.9-R0.1 only.
I already tried the latter and it does not work, will not fine a player or give message of any sort.
Do plugin versions usually have to explicitly match the CraftBukkit version or should newer plugin versions work on older CB versions?

Posted Jun 21, 2014Plugin has been updated to work on the latest craftbukkit and the latest vault. Please ensure you are running the latest vault for this plugin to work correctly, this plugin is all set for the uuid changes in 1.8 with this update. I have also added the command /sj balance to show the balance of the swearjar.

Would there be a way to customise how large the fine for each individual individual swear word is? Perhaps an additional fee for more than one swear in a sentence, like a multiplier. And would it be possible to make the fine a percentage of the players total balance? Perhaps an initial fee +x% of the players total money (so that they can't infinitely swear). So that richer players are equally as deterred by it.

Posted Oct 19, 2013I love the idea of this plugin, which would allow players to use certain swear words, as long as they can pay for them. But it's not compatible with the latest version of Craftbukkit. Would love if you would please update this plugin.
