SwearingBlocker

We all have trouble with those annoying pests on our server: players swearing all the time. If you are sick of them, then SwearingBlocker is right for you. This lightweight plugin stops their messages from appearing, and can also smite players who swear. It works instantly, no additional setup required!

How to Install

Drag and drop the .jar file into your plugins folder
Stop and restart your server
Set up the config.yml however you want
Add your own words in the config.yml

Features

Blocks swear messages from all players
Smites (sends lightning down upon) players who swear
Sends a private message to the player who swears: [Server] Hey, [player], do not swear!
option to add your own words in config
after a custom amount of warnings a player gets banned

Permissions

sb.* - includes all permissions
sb.reload - allows /sb reload
sb.list - allows /sb list
sb.addword - allows /sb addword
sb.rmword - allows /ab rmword
sb.bypass - bypasses swearing
sb.warnings.create - create a warning sign
sb.warnins.payoff - use warning signs (typo on this permission will be fixed in next version)
sb.admin - checks for updates each time you join

Warning system

this feature lets you give warnings to swearing people

if they got max warnings they get banned (you can unban with /unban <name>)

if they want to get rid of a warning admins can create signs like this:

line 1 : [warning]
line 2: <price>

Commands

/sb - SwearingBlocker help

/sb info - SwearingBlocker info

/sb reload - reload config

/sb addword <word> - add a word

/sb rmword <word> - remove a word

/sb list - view all listed words

Dl'd latest dev build. Not sure if this is working. CB1.2.5-r1.2 - tried various words.. no lightning.. haven't changed anything from default config. Did I miss a step?

I LOVE this. I have a couple members who want to keep swearing, but I don't like the idea of banning them outright for it.

thx for that idea! i will pm you when i added that! i am currently making so you have to pay if you swear! you can change how much and use in config it should be ot soon

Hi! I'm looking for a replacement for my current swear-filter. The one I'm using appears to be abandoned and it doesn't seem to work with latest build of CB-RB. However, I had some cool options in the old plugin of striking players with lightning if they swore.

Would you be willing to add simply player punishment like lightning strikes or health penalties? It has worked very well and the language stays clean on my server.

to add/remove your own words!
and i am going to remove the ass support in 0.2.8 so
it will not block that anymore!

it blocks a message if it includes swearing not disable it on a players screen, sorry
i have to change the whole plugin for that
why should you want a server like:
peter: hate all that focking guy in the fucking world fucking being gays
han: yes i hate all the fucking retards they must go to the fucking hell!

do you want that?
if you dont this plugin is fine!
i cant make a filter option (maybe an anorther bukkit update)

Can you enable it so players can disable and enable the filter. Some users want to block swearing, and some don't.
