Survival Games X is a plugin that runs Survival Games automatically. It has an extensive feature list and highly customizable configuration options. Plugin is to be run on multiple servers. If you're looking for simultaneous games in one server, click here

Installation

Download the plugin and it's dependencies. (Vault)
Place it in your /plugins folder.
Reload or restart your server to generate the plugin folder.
Place the world in the folder with the server.
While in console type the 'sg addworld [worldName]' command. (Replace [worldName] with the name of the world you wish to add.
Refer to the wiki to set up rewards.
Refer to the wiki to set up spawn.

Note this plugin uses the entire Minecraft server. You will not be able to have worlds that are not affected by the plugin.

To Do List

If it's blue then it's done. If it's red then it means it's going to be done. If it's green then it means it's done but not released yet.

Multiple arenas.
Dynamic MOTDs.
Spectators.
Force start/stop.
Refill chests at midnight [17000 ticks] or through command.
Map voting.
Permissions for more voting power. (survivalgames.basic.vote.2 - allows a player vote worth 2)
Deathmatch after a configured amount of time or by command.
Deathmatch countdown before being teleported to center.

Add your own arenas. (Configure everything!)

No chest config. (Chests are filled apon user click.)
No longer need the files in the world/data/ folder.

Arenas are randomized.
Voting for arena in lobby. (Cannot vote for an arena just played. (Maybe config this?))
Scoreboard
Full server shutdown using run scripts.
TNT explodes, but doesn't break blocks.
/sg setspawn [#] (Sets spawnpoint)

Config chests, trapped chests and other container blocks' rewards separately.
Option to kick player's to bungee cord server on restart.
Kick the last joined user to allow vip access.

Multiple levels of kickjoin permission. The higher the level the more priority.
Bounty Command (/sg bounty Tagette 100)
Blood Effect when a player is hit or if they have very low health.

Ah. You encountered that when you finished playing an arena right? This is the problem they have to fix. When we played an arena, it will auto restart the arena but in the process an error is made(check your console and you will know what i mean). To temp fix this problem you will have to manually /sg enable (arenaname). The arenas that you played will disable themselves because of that error when the plugin is restarting the arena. Thats why you need to enable them again.

Okay, I guess the restarting won't work, but when the server restarts the game (not the whole server), and people do /sg join, they are added to the game, but it says they joined as a spectator. Any help?

Hmm... Interesting. I will try to help you out. But if it really stucks there, we will have to wait for a new version of Survival Games X to be out and hope it fixed the bug. The clear inv thing works i hope :D

The Restarting part worked, but the loading up the server part didn't. It kicked all players and made the MOTD as restarting, but the MOTD didn't change and remained as "Restarting". When I joined the server, it was while the MOTD was on "Restarting", and I was teleported to my SG arena. Any help?

Hi, the inv clearing thing is not a feature of this plugin i guess. I also have the same problem. What i did was put a pressure plate and a command block(ID:137) at the sg lobby spawn and set the command 'clear @p'. This will clear the players inv when they finish the arena and teleported back to the lobby.

As for the server restart, i think you can configure it inside the config file. Change the number of games played before a restart to whatever you want instead of the default '0'

Stop your server, then rename the main world which is default called 'world' to lobby. Then go to your server.properties file and change the level name to 'lobby' instead of 'world'

Oh, thanks! BTW, how come the server doesn't restart after the game is finished? The inventory doesn't clear either. Do you know why?

Thta's because you didn't setup the rewards file for that arena. Look at the example file

Does anybody know why Chests won't open? I have PermissionsEX, and yes, I do have the modifyworld permission. Whenever someone tries to open the chests, it won't, and there is no message in chat.

You should also add a feature that, when you right click an item it will trigger a command, after command triggered the item will be taken away from the player.

I though of so more things!

1 Stats Signs, Kills,Deaths,Games,Wins, Etc.. e.g Have signs in your SG lobby to view the top players stats, maybe even heads.

2 Option to Restart the entire server with our own restart scripts 1.0.6 and Above.

3 Better Spectating for OP`s. All OPs nad/or people with the permission can see this, we are having a total of 12 SG servers I dont want to go in each and OP and admin or above, this is why we have PermssionsEx DataBase permission.

4 Costum Signs, that gets the server`s GameState.

5 Lighting, instead of killing the player who runs from Deathmatch.

6 Add | /v, /stats, /start, etc... - I know you guys are probaly annoyed about this question, but its what must people are used to. If there is a plugin that does this for me please tell e, thank you.

7 Use a command to mark a tier two, - Just wanted to points this out because if we were to use Trapped Chests as tire two some people would notice and be scared to open it xD

8 Compass for spectating?

9 Potions

10 Option to disable Swing Arm Spectating.

11 GUI Shop

12 Option to add or remove Points, by Command and not database.

How do we get rid of the [ADMIN] rank? I don't want this survival games ranks, I have my own ranks in pex.

Just summarising stuff:

Protection against suffocating teleports

Can't teleport from horses (may be from minecarts as well, haven't tested) during lobby (->game) and game (->deathmatch)

Restarting is broken. Critical. Can't update to new versions because it.

Voting with GUI see @Apple_columb
Possible donator perk: respawn in first 5/10 minutes of the game

Potions support (Player heads?)

May be we could have only X% of all item usage? From X% to Y%. You can't actually loose your armor/weapon because durability. Why it's always has to be in such a nice condition?

Optional way to disable map backups. Since it could be done using restart scripts (Gain - no shutdown delay, right?)

Spectator selector + "quit" icon which runs custom player command on click. i.e. /hub

List playernames on tab with their kill count.

Support for multiples deathmath arenas? i.e. on game end there is a random chance of playing "enabled" deathmatch maps. This requires a way to use 1 arena across different maps. May be deathmatch world? Like lobby (world), game (arena world) and deathmatch (another "arena" world).

Why is it that whenever me and someone finishes a game using this plugin, when we try to join the arena again using /sg join (arena here) it puts us to spectator? Next, whenever I stop the server using /stop and re-run the server everyones stuck in a wall and cant break out of it, etc and no commands are working when this occurs. (No sg commands are working*)
