Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements

Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.

WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.

Conflicts

Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

/sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!

New Permissions:

If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:

sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
sg.arena.join
sg.player.vote
sg.lobby.join

Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

Eventhough i've set use sql to false it says that it's stopping the plug because they couldn't connect to mySQL? Thanks man ;) i tried it but there appeared such a shit that i pushed the zip file in the Plugs folder... and I think it worked? I got a .jar file and the folder with the config stuff... A new problem: 'Could not save config.yml to plugins/SurvivalGames/config.yml because it already exists... :-/

You are missing the Survival-Games permissions that allow usage of signs. To add these you will want to use a permissions plugin.

Here is the essentials group permissions one that I use:

Afterwards you will want to make sure the "groups.yml" file created for your world by the permissions plugin resembles the following:

That should already work, In my multiverse lobby world we are using that method with redstone to light up some vegas design around our signs.

Have you setup the redstone circuit properly?

I need help with this... When you click the sign it says No Permission. Can someone pm me? It also says cannot save config file because config already exists

You can add a welcome message to your server that tells them the command.

Also if you want matches to start quicker, set the minimum players very low and the wait time to like 20 seconds or something.

Guys, i got a Problem... I've read the FAQ's but i still can't find what's the reason that the Plug doesn't work :/ What should I do with the .zip file after i downloaded it? Would be happy about an answer, and sorry for my English >.<

The game auto starts when a certain amount of player is reached. Check your config for more info.

Hi, thanks for the plugin. I have one suggestion to add: can you make it so you don't have to do /sg vote to start the game all the time? it gets annoying when players on my server don't know how and we dont want to have to do /sg start all the time. so please make another feature for that if possible!

@ThatGuy2727 Did you change in config.yml

#if set to true, the logging manager #will use sql to save block data. Otherwise #it will be stored into memory. logging: usesql: false - IT HAS TO BE FALSE

@turgodi FIX FOR THE RESTARTING BUG !!!

In config.yml change : usesql to false - You have to change it to false the problem is with mysql connection i thing it worked for me

btw, would it be possible to automaticly kill all the mobs in the arena after the game ends and not allow spawning them again before the next game starts? because almost all the time when the ppl joins the game, creepers will go to them and blow everything near them up before the game starts.

Please when installing an update read the install notes. Most of the issues you are noting are fixed by resting your config like it says in the update info.
