Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements

Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.

WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.

Conflicts

Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

/sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!

New Permissions:

If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:

sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
sg.arena.join
sg.player.vote
sg.lobby.join

Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

I just installed this plugin on our server, and have a few questions and a bug to report.

1. Bug: If a player is killed by lava they are on fire when they respawn to the lobby. Could you add a fire extinguisher to the respawn process?

2. Is it possible to have a lobby spawn point set individually for multiple arenas? We plan to have multiple arenas in different worlds and areas with no central lobby, so having a respawn point per arena would be nice. Is this possible?

3. How does the level system for chests actually work? How can I define a chest to be of a higher level, or is it completely random? We have an existing Hunger Games arena where we have run manually administered games, and the arena has chests behind traps which have better items. How could I implement this with Survival Games?

Overall I had no problems setting up our first arena and our test matches were very successful :) Looking forward to adding more Survival Games arenas to our server.

double_0_negative how do i disable commands because i got this plugin that creates commands and idk how to disable them during a game plz help

If you're not sure what Double means is, in the kits.yml go to line 24, and it says the version thats what he means :3

Even with the new DEV download when i put in kits and then reload the plugin it replaces the kit.yml to default and adds the custom kits into a different file called kit.yml.old0

UPDATE

A recommended update has been released!

among other things, two major things are fixed

Games not ending properly sometimes

Signs sometimes stop working

@iiheroo ok thanks. But I have been on a hg server that did not need a lobby nor did we have to type /Sg join we just logged in and waited for the games to start and I was hoping someone knew how to do that. But thanks

When i change the kits they usually reset to the old ones or if i just a 1 kit (different from default) the plugin wont connect to server?

Does it send you a message or the console a message ? If it sends a console message, go in console, and do "CTRL + A" then "CTRL + C" then go to pastie.org and paste it there and give us a link.

You need a lobby, but to join you don't need to go to the lobby. It's simply just /sg join <arena#>

Ok I understand how to use this plugin but how do I use it so I don't need a lobby and when people join all they need to do is login, choose their kit And then wait for the game to start.

It works in 1.6.2 a plugin just doesn't "work" for someone, it's not like "oh, I don't like him", what issues are you experiencing ?

PermissionsEx allows per world permissions. That's the only way I know you can fix it at the moment.
