Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements

Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.

WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.

Conflicts

Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

/sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!

New Permissions:

If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:

sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
sg.arena.join
sg.player.vote
sg.lobby.join

Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

'YES' means it is using a password, not the password is 'YES'

Someone's going to ask you this, so i may as well:

Are you using the Correct password, Username, and Database name??

have you tried stopping and starting the arena? /hg disable <id> then /hg enable <id> ? (i use hg coz sg clashes with stargate;) )

I have a problem dude. When the server is on for like 1 hour something, the signs won't work like the Game is started but the sign says it's "Waiting" people are like going mad at my server. Please reply

Hey it tells me that the access to the mysql database is denied, it says it was using the password YES. On the config however i typed in the real password and if i change the spot to any pass, also YES, it will keep saying access denied using the pass YES. please help me i want to get this awesome plugin running

I have some problems: - When a arena ended it will say: FINISHED and it wont go on WAITING till I reload the whole server.

- The map wont comnpletely rollback.

- It keeps doing lightning and it won't stop.

- Chests wont always refill.

Any help?

Have you got another plugin protecting the area? like worldguard for examle, i fell across this and found i had it protected (Silly mistake :/ )

When I create the arena, it says No Arenas, then when I create spawns the server starts bugging out.

Why i am the only one who can destroy leaves and open chest in the arena ?

default users cant, i set the permission sg.arena.nocmdblock but nothing changes.

Try reloading the server again after creating arenas. This happened to me, i created an arena, then looked and it was on the board, but once i started adding spawns, it said error. Just reload the server, and you should be fine.Also, make sure you have the newest version above ^{^}^. It wasn't up there yesterday, maybe not approved yet? But that is the newest version.

This is already implemented. If you open up the config.yml, about halfway through you will notice a whitelist for breaking and placing blocks, just put in the id's you want, and take out the id's you dont. Be careful to make sure that all the spacing is still the same

I have a problem but its only small and its not important so im not gonna open a ticket. Hi! I've set up the database and its working , i've set the arena , lobby spawn , next spawn , but when i set the lobby status wall , it does the animation and stuff then one of the signs goes pink and says "error" The console is being spammed with java.lang.NullPointerException. Please Help -Lightzaver

Just getting this plugin and i've noticed some errors or mistakes. But if you do /sg help there are two issues. 1) /se setlobbywall is on the list twice. 2) "spectate" is spelt on the help list "sepcate" if i knew how to change these menus my self i would but i don't know how so maybe this can be fixed.

Also just an idea... but is there any way to change the colors of the player list on the signs? so like ppl that are in the game are this color and ppl that are died are this color? i don't want them to be just black and gray. Would like to maybe change those up in a config if possible.
