Survival Games
Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements
Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.
- WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
- MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.
Conflicts
- Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
- Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
- WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

New Permissions:
If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:
- sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
- sg.arena.join
- sg.player.vote
- sg.lobby.join
Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

You're the dummy, he has his own list but it currently doesn't work correctly, this is the list that actually works because my plugin developer dug it out of the source code.

sg.player.vote SHOULD work, as that's what I'm using. And to spectate the player has to type /sg spectate <arenaID> or else it won't work, even if you only have one arena.

i have tried sg.player.vote and sg.arena.vote same as spectate none work the only one that works is .sg.arena.join.1

Posted May 26, 2013This is a really great plugin and seems to work really well, except, I gave my default group all the normal ppl nodes and for some reason they cant use /sg join or the sign on the lobby wall.
This is what I added
- sg.arena.join.* - sg.arena.vote - sg.arena.spectate - sg.lobby.join
Now please let me know if I am doing anything wrong, thankyou!

Posted May 26, 2013Please update this i am having a terrible glitch that restarts my server every time a plaer would like to join and it happened as soon as i made an arena
Here is a list of epic features i would like you and maybe others would like added:
change survival games so instead of having a lobby wall it just teleports all of them to an arena and at the end restarts but i would prefer if you could add your own kits into the plugin so they can only choose before games starts but they can use /map 1 and that votes for a map from a randomised list of arenas that weve added.
Or better yet randomly put them into a lobby that they stay in till disconnect out of four or more lobbies
after 20 mins there is a death mach where if they try to run out of death match they get wither 5 for 5 seconds or somthing like that then the winner has a big fat tag next round saying [Winner!] {username} then alsooo configurable rank chests that make a certain selection of items appear from that rank and lastly what i can think of is only break leaves ir a whitelist of blocks

Posted May 26, 2013I am not great with permissions but i am having this problem were when players play it might just be ops cause i haven't tried it with non ops but when we play a game our Hunger goes down REALLY quick in 5 seconds your hunger bar is empty so i need help on how to fix that and also when players that are not op in a game the are not allowed to interact with anything and the fov zooms in and goes all weird but i think that is a problem with my permissions plugin GroupManager but i still kinda need help so i don't know if i am supposed to give them a certain permission to allow them to interact with stuff cause they can't even open the chests so it would be greatly appreciated if someone could help Thanks!

They aren't idiots, they are making a logical decision to not run a developmental build on a production server. Just because the dev build exists doesn't mean it will work perfectly. Many want an official bukkit approved build instead of a dev build which is anything but idiotic. Running a server with countless plugins that can interfere with each other means that each person's outcome can be different and dev builds can (however unlikely) potentially cause big problems.
