Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements

Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.

WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.

Conflicts

Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

/sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!

New Permissions:

If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:

sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
sg.arena.join
sg.player.vote
sg.lobby.join

Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

When i add a wall the sign dont show text after it just says arena added is it supposed to do that?

I'm currently using 0.5.0 as with the previous versions I experienced issues with individuals occasionally being invisible to others.

This invisibility bug seems to be fixed although I've run into another issue. The permissions no longer work. I use yapp, though that shouldn't make a difference. My default users permissions pertaining to SG are as follows:

+ sg.arena.join + sg.arena.vote + sg.lobby.join + sg.permissions + sg.arena.join.1 + sg.arena.join.2

I've also tried sg.arena.join.* but that doesn't work either. Do you have any suggestions? Should I just give up and recreate my arena's once again with an older version?

I've also tried recreating the lobby wall, but every time I do, it freezes my current instance and I have to leave an rejoin the server to find the wall hasn't actually been removed.

permissions arn't working! i set it up right too. i had sg.arenas.join.* for admin and it still wont work any help?

Hey!

Nice plugin. Permissions is abit bugged but I finally managed to get it to work using: - sg.arena.* - sg.arenas.*

However there is two HUGE bugs that needs to be fixed. 1. When players are joining and leaving the arena they will get full hunger and hearts. This will take away the use of food in survival servers.

2. If a players is holding an item. Just like he would drop it by throwing it out of his inv. Not by using q. And die from the game, he will still be holding the item and can put it in his inv. This is a HUGE bug and will make players able to spawn items. Since we use diamond swords in our SG the players can spawn alot of swords.

I'm using Survival Games B 0.4.11 and every time the game ends the winner teleports to the spawn 1 of the arena..... Also it says "geting no rollback" on the player signs and it would let nobody join the game unless admin disables and reenables the arena.

if i upgrade the sg plugin nobody can join an arena, if non ops try it says "[SG] you don't have permission to join this arena"

and i gave this permissions

- sg.player - sg.arena.join - sg.arena.join.* - sg.arena.join.1 - sg.arena.join.2 - sg.arena.join.3 - sg.arena.join.4 - sg.arena.join.5 - sg.arena.join.6 - sg.arena.join.7 - sg.arena.join.8 - sg.arena.join.9 - sg.arena.join.10 - sg.arena.join.11 - sg.arena.join.12 - sg.arena.join.13 - sg.arena.join.14 - sg.arena.join.15 - sg.arena.join.16 - sg.arena.join.17 - sg.arena.join.18 - sg.arena.join.19 - sg.arena.join.20 - sg.arena.leave - sg.arena.vote

(ps: im using groupmanager if that's important)

where would you put the permissions that is what i'm asking like the "sg.arenas.join1" or "sg.arenas.join.*" i dont know how to give the permission

Ultimate guide to permissions

If you have for example 6 arenas you should give these permissions:

sg.arenas.join.1

sg.arenas.join.2

sg.arenas.join.3

sg.arenas.join.4

sg.arenas.join.5

sg.arenas.join.6

sg.arena.join

sg.arena.vote

sg.lobby.join

You are done!

is there anyway to make the lobby not an instant teleport? Because people could just tp away from a fight..

can you please explane more on how i can get players to join the arenas? when the players on my server click the sign it still says "no permissions" please explane how to fix this problem

Everyone if you want to have players to have permission to join you MUST have the 2 Permission Nodes!

- sg.arena.join

- sg.arenas.join.*
