Survival Games
Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements
Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.
- WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
- MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.
Conflicts
- Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
- Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
- WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

- /sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!
New Permissions:
If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:
- sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
- sg.arena.join
- sg.player.vote
- sg.lobby.join
Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

I post here a lot and use the plugin to an extensive amount (even though my servers not that big the plugin is a favorite) though I have couple requests; one, this isn't very big just a little annoying, could you add Bows to the default chest.yml? A lot of the bigger SG servers don't add that in due to being nearly fully automatic. Two, the dev build link takes you to the vote page, I would like to help with build testing and this makes it a little hard to do so. That's all I have, thanks for the great work on the plugin so far.

Posted Nov 28, 2012I was having trouble with my server and i narrowed the problem down to this. I've been running it for quite a while now and never had a problem until 1.4.5. An update would be nice!

Posted Nov 28, 2012Double and Malo, ignore all the haters. They have nothing better to do with their lives than just make fun of everyone. You are doing an amazing job with the plugin, it is my all time favourite Bukkit plugin and all of my server members love it too! I don't mind how long you take with the next update, focus more on your University work, and when you have spare time, start working on an update for the plugin. I really hope one day I will be able to help you out with the plugin, and maybe release an update quicker! I wish you all the best with your University work, as well as your projects. :)

Why don't you shut up and avoid comments! If you dislike the plugin and its authors go away, make your own, but don't bother other people with your stupid commentaries. The plugin has some small bugs but it continues working and it is awesome, much better than any other out there!

Have fun making your own plugin buddy, we will work at our OWN pace. Honestly, we or I for sure couldn't care more if another sg plugin was released. I really don't give a fuck about you. Like Double0 said he has put 3 thousand lines of code in the past month.
On a side note, the plugin wasn't originally created for release on bukkitdev, it was originally created for skitscapes server, when we decided to let everyone have access to it. And im not here cause i code, i make the graphics, I test, make ideas, i made lots of the post, and i help people use the plugin. You obviously care more about a game then you do about your life and college if you are making such a big deal.

why dont you try and make a plugin that has thousands and thousands of lines of code, update it all, while Going to college, Making other plugins, Managing a large server, Helping people with bugs, etc etc. This is not a plugin that has like 100 lines of code that you can update in five minutes. This plugin has over 65 class files and close to 10,000 lines of code. Over the last month we have added over 3 thousands lines and tens of features, most so complicated that you would never be able to understand them. How bout a full expression parser from scratch? Thats not easy work. if you think you could do it, while doing all the other things that I do, I would like to see you try. I can barley keep up with my college work as is, and adding all these other things on makes it hard to have time to do anything, yet I still do, Why? Because I want to, Like said below, I dont get paid, I have no reason to keep this updated, other then the fact that I want to. I could drop this plugin today, I could make this plugin private today, keep the updates only to myself, yet I choose not to because I wan't to give you guys access to my hard work, no thanks to people like you.

Thank you very much for your concern. We are working very hard to get this release out. There are a ton of new features in this new release, and things take time. If you are a Java dev as you claim, you should know that new features take time. This plugin has thousands of lines of code, so I'll see you in a month once you've rewrote it ;)

1. Double0negative (the coder) is in university, and has not much time to spend on minecraft as before, when the plugin came out, and he wasn't in university.
2. Were not lazy. Like i said above^ also notice we got a spleef plugin released, a walls plugin were working on, and a few other small plugins. We also run a very large server.
If you think the other plugin developers are better, go get them to make you a sg plugin.
How would you like it if we kept the plugin private, for only us to use?
Oh, and a quick update on 0.5.0, most of the features are added, its mostly a matter of bug testing, and fixing all the bugs. I hope you are happy when its released, cause we have put not only hours, but days of our time into this plugin.
