Survival Games
Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements
Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.
- WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
- MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.
Conflicts
- Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
- Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
- WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

- /sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!
New Permissions:
If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:
- sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
- sg.arena.join
- sg.player.vote
- sg.lobby.join
Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

Get groupmanager the give the nodes: - sg.arena.join, - sg.arena.spectate in the world with the lobby wall. In the world with the arena give the nodes - sg.arena.leave, - sg.arena.vote, - sg.arena.spectate.
I run a offline mode false server and this has worked for me and serveral ofther people who use this plugin so it should work for you.

Posted Jul 19, 2012Dude i installed the plugin on mi server but it says failiure do u need to have MySQL cause i realy dont want to pay for MySQL.Cant u make it whitout the MySQL? Can u tlel me why does it give the error?

Posted Jul 19, 2012Ok so I have a question that I will try to explain to the best of my ability.
I have a server with Factions, mcMMO, MobArena, Spleef, pvparena, and the like. I've read (and understand why) that I'd have to create another world to use as the Survival Games arena, and set the entire thing as WarZone and all that fun stuff. But my question is, would the Survival Games plugin affect anything on the normal world, so that essentially it's a standalone plugin for the separate SG world?

I use factions on my server along with HG/SG but no one has yet to report a problem, this might be because my arenas are in separate worlds than the factions.

Posted Jul 18, 2012I think when they join the game the xp should start at zero which it does not please fix this as some of my players are cheating with enchantments at the beginning also if you could make the spectating be better cause its hard for people to find them when they spectate and make them invisible too this would make this plugin so much better thanks

I have removed all comments from this page that are relating to this plugin having some sort of backdoor in it that gives people OP.
As you may or may not be aware, every single file that is uploaded to BukkitDev gets submitted to a queue, where both humans and robots decompile and review the sourcecode of the plugin, to verify that it is safe and free of things like backdoors, before being approved. In light of these comments, I have scrutinized the plugin's code again, and can verify that no such backdoor exists.
Furthermore, spamming a page with comments that declare a plugin is malicious is not the right way to handle the situation in which you actually do find a malicious file on this site. Instead, you must report the page (the red triangle in the bottom right hand corner) and let the BukkitDev staff know about the issue. Users who claim to have found backdoors should supply code proof of the issue. Failure to comply with these rules and continuing to harass and troll people on this page will result in your account being banned.

Any fix for the "Unknown command" when joining the game and I don't get colored names on the Lobby wall.
