Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements

Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.

WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.

Conflicts

Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

/sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!

New Permissions:

If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:

sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
sg.arena.join
sg.player.vote
sg.lobby.join

Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

try setting the lobbyspawn first and make sure your server isn't reloaded (/reload) restart it, set the lobby spawn then set the lobbywall

and please use paste bin next time to show your error.

hello whenever i do /sg setlobbywall then it says

Lobby Status wall successfuly created An error occurred while executing the command. Check the console. Type /sg help for help

i really need to find out whats wrong so it would be great if you got back to me about it.

and btw im not really good with plugins so ya

Could you possibley make it so mobs cant target spectators please :D (EntityTargetEvent)

yep the whole arena is selected, top to bottom left to right, spawning works inside but the chests dont for some reason

I am probably settings nosql mode as the default mode in the next update as it works a lot better lol.

yep that is correct works well on my server. 70 slot with the 8 arenas too and roll backs are very fast

Did you make sure you got the whole arena selected? the whole thing must be selected otherwise chest will not fill.

I have a problem where the chests inside the arena do not spawn any items. ive changed the level for chest items to be low numbers such as 1 and 2 and still no spawn? any ideas?

OK I have another question. I own the server but after I create an arena I can't edit it. Is their something I have to do in Permissions?

Is There a way i can allow players to use all blocks, and i don't have to type ALL 350 id's.

What I did to resolve this was stop using SQL and used "memory" instead which is available in updated versions of this plugin.

Currently, running 8 arenas and my signs very very rarely have issues. Even with updating that many signs.

Hey, I love this plugin until now, when an error that I can't connect to MySQL Database shows up and in the lobby signs, in the player's section, 'Geting no' is written.

1. Error in console that is showing, even though MYSQL is connected. (worked before, but suddenly stopped) 08.07 19:30:10 [Server] INFO Communications link failure 08.07 19:30:10 [Server] WARNING [SurvivalGames] Couldn't connect to MySQL database. Stopping... 08.07 19:30:10 [Server] INFO The last packet sent successfully to the server was 0 milliseconds ago. The driver has not received any packets from the server.

2. Game does not finish properly. Is this the problem that everyone had got?

I get 2 Errors, which I had gotten fixed, by using a NEW MySQL, but the error started again. Please help someone.

Error received and it is only happening on 9th arena to my server. Second I create the arena it starts spamming this error through console, then immediately delete the arena and the error stops. Typically this error is due to a structure being to tall, but that is far from the case in this situation. As this arena is less then 40blocks high.

[SEVERE] java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException

Solutions on how to fix? or a Possible cause?

either /sg resetspawns <id> to delete all spawns or /sg setspawn <id> to reset a specific spawn.
