Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements

Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.

WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.

Conflicts

Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

/sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!

New Permissions:

If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:

sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
sg.arena.join
sg.player.vote
sg.lobby.join

Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

Ive upgraded to lastest version, it rolls back way more then it used to, however, its not rolling back tnt and water for some reason o.O

What is happening here? It's spamming this when someone wins the game. Something seems out of sync when it's trying to reset the arena. People can't join the arena again after this error starts happening. "The arena is reseting!"

If you upgraded from B 0.2.32 to B 0.3.3 or B 0.3.4 Make sure you deleted all your config files first! there are some changes to the configuration and the old files will cause errors

We successfully upgraded... and Ahhh, automated HG! 1. Completely deleted the previous Survivalgames.jar and associated folder in plugins first. 2. Pasted new survivalgames.jar into plugins folder and ran and then stopped server. 3. Created a new db with same name as the one called for in the config.yml. 4. Checked that our db username and password are the same as the those called for in config.yml 5. Re-created/re-set the lobby, wall, arena and spawns as described in the install guide. We did get the "clear signs" error, but that went away after we re-created/re-set everything.

Thanks again very much for one of the best plugins ever!

I also am getting "cannot connect to the database" errors. I was able to create the lobby wall, and since then nothing.

I'm getting the same error with a fresh jar and it states that it connected to the database. Any ideas as to the problem?

If you are getting that error then that means that teh plugin did not load properly. Check to make sure your config files dont have errors, your database settings are correct and that all the worlds and everything exist. If you have edited chest.yml make sure that dosent have any problems

I'm getting this error which does not let me connect to the server.

turn skype off and turn wamp on , then restart skype, You can turn off skype using port 80 in the settings under advanced -> connections

Hey i can't get the database to connect even though it's on the same server account and server. Just returns a "Cannont connect to database" error.

I cant use wamp it uses port 80. Skype uses port 80..
