Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements

Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.

WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.

Conflicts

Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

/sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!

New Permissions:

If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:

sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
sg.arena.join
sg.player.vote
sg.lobby.join

Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

It connects just fine .. but i believe its because the connection sits idle too long (8h global wait timeout in mysql)

problem is that i have to restart the server everytime this happens :(

Your plugin can't connect or lost the connection to your MySQL provider. Check your config file to fix this.

This problem isn't coming from the plugin, check the plugins who can block pvp. (ex: essentials, multiverse core, ... Or just your server configuration file (that one where you put your number of slots)

hi .. running 0.4.4 .. server.log spams:

13:38:28 [WARNING] [SurvivalGames] Couldn't connect to MySQL database. Stopping... Communications link failure The last packet sent successfully to the server was 0 milliseconds ago. The driver has not received any packets from the server.

any ideas? only 10 hours after server restart :(

Dude, we need your help! You can't take this plugin away from us now! We have people dying to have this plugin updated. Do it for the sake of the people! Don't just stop because no one gets recognized! We already see who develops on the Dev page! Don't give up please! D:

I'm not trying to be rude, but why make something so great just to give up because you cant have colored names on the wall? The way I see it, you should just create your own website and host it there. This is WAY to popular for a website to deny it.

I wouldn't make people pay for this though. At least not yet, to many bugs. but ask for donations and I'm sure you will get them.

Is there a way to where when theres x amount of players left to tp them all back to the middle of the arena?

So... can you put 4.4 on your own forums then?

I mean I know you guys are all caught up in whether or not to use Bukkit anymore, but really shouldn't you have posted this on your own forums by now?

Honestly I don't care if you keep to bukkit or not but I've got a server full of people that 4.3 hasn't been working properly for so I'm eager to get 4.4 into it.
