Survival Games
Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements
Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.
- WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
- MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.
Conflicts
- Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
- Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
- WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

- /sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!
New Permissions:
If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:
- sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
- sg.arena.join
- sg.player.vote
- sg.lobby.join
Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

Posted Jun 15, 2012I need help!! today i came home, finding my server spamming this message:
The last packet sent successfully to the server was 0 milliseconds ago. The driver has not received any packets from the server. 2012-06-15 10:36:09 [WARNING] [SurvivalGames] Couldn't connect to MySQL database. Stopping... Communications link failure
I then found out it had been spamming my server the last 15 hours or so. Taking 32GB of temporary memory in my computer!!
I restarted the server, i hasn't done this since, but i fear the worst..

Here is the reason why I am worried. All the arenas on my wall are gone when I reload or restart the server. I thought that was the problem, but it isn't. I have no errors other than that too. Help please.

Posted Jun 15, 2012Please add support for custom chests, we have build our own map with some challenges that should be rewarded with an high value item, with the current randomizer that won't work.

Posted Jun 15, 2012I have an ERROR. It says that I have 2 config.yml's in my survival games plugin folder when I don't. This is a problem because it wont save the arenas now help please.

Another update. It seems like instead of getting stuck on FINISHING, it is now getting stuck at "Saving queue". Easy fix is just /sg enable the arena without rollback.

They do have web hosting and database(Limit to one database per server though), but BeastNode is the best among small scale Minecraft hosting. We're close to public opening so that's why I'm having 2 servers as stated below, BeastNode and Limestone dedicated server.

Hi Double_0_negative,
Thanks for getting back to me! After even everybody vote(5 testers total) It doesn't show that "The game will be started at xx seconds" like when it auto starts when there's enough players. I waited for around 2 minutes but nothing happened, then I had to force start the game. Everything else went perfectly normal except that problem. If you'd like, I can use Fraps to record my screen on what is on my server's plugin server and I can test game test for you, also the console so you can see it from when the server starts. I hope to get this problem fixed because I know it's not happening to most people but it does happen to me so it's kinda odd.
