Survival Games
Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements
Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.
- WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
- MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.
Conflicts
- Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
- Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
- WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

New Permissions:
If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:
- sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
- sg.arena.join
- sg.player.vote
- sg.lobby.join
Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

Posted Apr 28, 2014Hey guys so i have this plugin works great i have a few arenas everyone can join play the game ect.. the one problem i am having is the arena regen once the players have finished the map and rejoin that same map the items from the last game are left where the last fight had been so all the gear is left for one lucky or smart person to find and get diamond things if thats what was left behind . i have had a look through the config and can not find where the resetting of the maps is please help thanks

Hello guys, I just want a little help. I want to stop spectating on my server but when I checked the config, I could not find anything got to do with spectating. In addition, when someone dies in the SG arena, they do not go to the lobby. Please PM me or reply to my post. If you need any plugin information, please ask me.

Posted Apr 27, 2014Hey all.. What are you doing/using to protect your arenas? I have towny running on my server, but not sure if I should get worldguard (from what I read, maybe?) or make a fake town for the lobby and arenas?
Wondering this because there's no block protection on them now, and people can accidentally or intentionally damage those areas. Also intend on running arenas with flags set when it's possible, to allow digging, block placing in some areans, but not all (currently my arenas do NOT allow block manipulation, although the lobby, as mentioned above is not safe from this)..

Well, they are going to go in whatever permissions system/plugin you use.. For me, it's bPermissions, so I edit the appropriate users.yml or groups.yml file in the world folder of the permissions plugin folder.. It's kind of an on your own thing, cuz the dev of this doesn't know what plugin you're using, and that's kind of up to you to handle.. He's just passing on the permissions info so you can add it as needed..

There isn't a permissions for chests (that I am aware of), it's another permissions plugin messing with you. As stated above in the detailed info, LWC / other chest locking plugins are quite possibly going to have a problem with this plugin..
To the guy about the flags.. (sorry, editing my post so I can't link to ya)
Read somewhere on here that the flags are for future use, and will allow/disallow things like breaking/building blocks PER ARENA (which will be pretty awesome) so you can have some arenas in like "Adventure mode" where the players can't mess with what's there, yet have other arenas which could potentially be fully destructable, diggable, buildable.. It's not a feature that's currently available, though. Again, from what I read.

Posted Apr 25, 2014Hi, can you make it so that you can either: rename arenas OR give proper names to arenas when creating them. e.g. /sg createarena [arena name]
and when you make a sign wall, you make the selection, and do: /sg addwall [arena name] this would be better since players will know what map they are joining!

What versions are you running? I didn't edit my chests file, but I have about 15 chest (7 in the middle, 4x2 in two bases) and none of my chests seem to ever get more than a total of 5 items, max.. Usually 3.. Now that said, one thing I've noticed is sometimes the chests aren't resetting (nor the items that fall from the dead) from time to time, so if that happens, you'll have a chest with items, which when the round starts, will get MORE items in it, so maybe that's what's happening to you? After a round ends, try and /tp to your arena and take a look around the region.. Maybe even lurk in there for a match and peek around, see if things get wiped/reset or not, and how often. That might give ya something more to go from.

There is a file like that. But the problem is, I can limit the number of items on the list but each chest can spawn 2-FULL chest of items, I want to make it so like.. a MAXIMUM of 4 unique/different items per chest on the high end.
Just did another test run and it spawned a chest with 9 different items. That's a little outrageous.
Other issue I have is that you can't set a custom arena for DEATHMATCH mode... So they can just run from the middle. :|
