Features
With this plugin, players that have permissions can open dragon eggs and get random rewards by type in a command or right click on a placed egg. Sure, everything is configurable!
Commands
- /se open - open eggs on your hand
- /se reload - reload configs
Permissions
- SurpriseEggs.use - right click to open an egg
- SurpriseEggs.open - use /se open
- SurpriseEggs.reload - use /se reload
(OPs have all permissions above by default)
Auto-Updater
This plugin contains an auto-updater to check updates and notify you in order to make sure you are using the newest, not buggy version.
However if you want to disable this feature for some reasons, you can set checkUpdate to false in plugins/SurpriseEggs/config.yml.
Metrics
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service for this plugin can be done by editing plugins/SurpriseEggs/config.yml and changing useMetrics to false.

Known Problems

- LootCrates - Another awesome crate plugin, but only gives out one item per crate.
- BetterPositionTP - A better way to travel around the world(jk, but it is simple and useful).

Posted Apr 14, 2014oh also Because I made an egg with a name and a lore and the eggs with "names" and "lores" don't dissapere once they hold it and type /se open Those are the only bugs I've found :)

As my signature said, infact I NEVER learn java before. I used to be a newbie C progammer(I stuied C by myself half years ago). So Im not sure that if my code is ture (or should do) in java.

Sor not use Skype. However if youre really interesting in the code. You can check out my github first, it contains two mature projects. This project is still in Alpha and I wont give out the code because its still not stable, and maybe lead you guys into a wrong way(becuz im a newbie too. this is just my first project that 100% coded by myself). bob7l is good at coding I think so if you take a look of his code, you will learn more things.
