This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Btw i'm also adding another command to 1.1 which will automatically try to match database prices to the prices your server currently uses. e.g. in my database i've put cobble at $0.01 but at another server it may be $100. so the command would effectively try to guess what you would want your prices to be :) .

Ok well ty for you comment and here are your answers: i'm not too sure on what you mean by your first question but if your asking if you can do something like /buy cobblestone 137 or the /sell equivalent then yes you can. Currently enchants aren't available but i'll look into adding this for 1.2 or maybe 1.1 and the SQL database is mandatory, i built it that way so price changes can be instant without having to reload.
Finally the physical shops aren't a definite decision but the way i'm planning it will be insanely easy to setup with almost everything being grabbed from the database and if i do add it then i'll add that config value you're talking about :).

Posted May 17, 2013Good to hear about a complex dynamic pricing algorithm! A few more Qs I have about the mod: Does the shop use item stocks or is it a binary availability of the item? Are enchants and experience marketable? And is the SQL database required for functionality or an extra feature coded at ground level?
This is one of the most promising replacements for dynamic prices I've found and I'm looking forward to seeing how this develops(especially that webpage planned for 1.2)! Thanks for sharing your hard work with us slobs!
P.S. I personally love that it is command exclusive, if you do physical shops can you add a value in the config to disable all non-command based features?

Posted May 16, 2013Thanks very much. Can't wait to try it out.
Server only, but having players as well would be a bonus. However if it's to much effort server only would be fine.

The plugin was design as a replacement for server shops, this makes it easy to have every item in the game on sale without having to waste hours setting up massive ChestShop item stores to do the same thing.
Nonetheless i will think about adding that as a feature in 1.2 :), however that isn't guaranteed.
btw are you talking about server-only or for players too?

Posted May 16, 2013Is there any chance you would be able to set up signs to be able to buy and sell?
I'm looking to move from ChestShop over to this, but only if you could set up signs.

@cal1112333 I've written some of the code ready for the next version but it will be more complex than other plugins thanks to the database.
